I was a walk in without a reservation at Harriet’s rooftop. The host was not friendly or welcoming. After ordering at the bar no one communicated that to the right of the bar was drinks only seating and to the left of the bar is food and drink. I was eventually sat at a table to order food which the service was horrible. It took another 15 minutes for order to be taken. I order another drink and food. The drink was dropped at the table after my food hit the table. The slider buns were burnt to a crisp and fully black. The server never checked on the table once the food came out either. Terrible service from start to finish besides the bartender at walk up bar.ReportRe: I was a walk in without a ... 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge replied on Monday, September 26th 2022Lacy- Thank you very much for taking the time to reach out. I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed your time on the roof at Harriet's. It is indeed one of the best views in our awesome city and it never gets old for us either. Incredible rooms and ambience. Helpful porters and staff at the front desk. Liked being able to take our breakfast from Neighbors up to the pool. Probably a better place for local New Yorkers looking for a lux getaway for 1-3 nights than for out-of-town visitors, since it's close to the High St. train but not really close to many tourist spots other than FiDi, and not close to Midtown for business travelers. Highly recommend the Lady Liberty cocktail at Harriet's Rooftop, especially to rum fans. Great having so many outside food options close by, including Time Out, Grimaldi's, and Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory. Don't like the random fees at checkout, denial of reasonable late checkout request, and inability to request specific seating in Harriet's.Report
This hotel is by far my favorite in New York! The views are INCREDIBLE. The neighborhood is great to walk, shop and eat. Everything about this hotel is wonderful from the staff, restaurants and the rooftop. Highly recommend.Report
