Holiday Inn Express Milwaukee-West Medical Center

I was RUDELY snapped at by the breakfast staff for putting the tongs in the “wrong” place. Which was exactly where I picked them up from. I said “are you kidding me” to her and she said “white xxxxx”she walked away. Went to the front desk and told her, then told her I would be checking out 4 days early as I will not be treated that way. She had no issue with and acted like this an every day occurrence. I asked to have Manger contact me, nothing……………

My stay was good. The accommodations were very nice and the breakfast was great with lots of options. My only complaint is that I have an Emotional Support Animal and I had told them when I made the reservation. I also told the front desk. I was still charged the pet fee which I shouldn’t have been charged. My stay was due to my son being in the hospital and his condition was not good. I didn’t need the extra charge and stress.

I stayed here on business. When I went to take a shower in the morning the water in the shower didn't work. I didn't have time to switch rooms so I went without. The lady at the front desk was nice and said she'd give e points. As of this post no points have been given yet.

First room they gave me smelled like cigarette smoke so bad I went immediately to front desk and asked for different room.

2nd room I was pleased didn’t smell like cigarette ash tray. However the tub caulk was all moldy around tub and disgusting. Don’t they know how to clean a room. For the cost of the room buy some bleach.

The hotel room door when closed had a 1/4” gap around it so you can see around the door into the hallway. Paint peeling off door. Served as my night light as glowing hallway lights eliminated the room - not huge deal but unexpected. Overall hotel maintenance and cleanliness subpar. I stayed at another holiday inn next night for less money and was very nice. Disappointed in this location as could have stayed at a motel for half the price and had same conditions. Just expected better from Holiday Inn Express.

Ps. Elevator floor was peeling and hallway carpets were heavily stained.

Loved the room, really no complaints. Big comfy beds, convenient comfy lounge chair with little table, decent size desk/TV/ and dresser. Great amenities in room (mini fridge, microwave, coffee, shampoo/conditioner/body wash and blow dryer all included.

A lot of things went wrong from reservations to services. Not a good experience

Worn, but clean.

Positive: I arrived super late on New Year's (3 am), and even though it took calls and making it work the receptionist was extremely helpful in ensuring I could still check in. Great location, clean and helpful staff.

Everything was adequate but nothing more.

Slept well. The location close to Mayfair mall and medical offices made it an ideal location for my visit.
