Royal Sonesta New Orleans

Check in was a HOT MESS. Staff experience was horrendous. Different information given on the phone vs at arrival. Ruined the entire vacation with their drama. 10/10 do NOT recommend!! If i wasn't already hundreds of miles away from home after dark i would have definitely sought another establishment. Wasn't even worth the $ considering the experience.

Edit to add! Hotel room is DEFINITELY lacking. Bathrooms are so shoddy. Was supposed to have a walkin shower not a grody bath. Walls dirty. Grout nasty. Shower walls clearly not even wiped down. Fixtures and trim are showing well on the wear. Elevators close on you. Poor lighting in room. Can't believe this cost $1400 tbh, I'd expect this for $60-80 a night perhaps. Clearly overcharging based on the location being in the French quarter!

If you get a Bourbon street balcony room, be prepared to hear EVERYTHING.

Beautiful hotel with options to go eat and see jazz music. Vaccine cards were required at every place we went to inside hotel

Deeply regret that we chose this hotel for our 10 year anniversary! The front desk staff is nonchalant to say the least. We clearly stated in the reservation that it's for our anniversary but didn't get an acknowledgment, not even a smile after we told him so. The hotel room is moldy and smells old. Furniture surfaces are very dusty. I literally re-cleaned the room myself! Unfortunately, we reserved this highly disappointing place for three nights, this is just the first night. If you plan on celebrating anything, stay away from this apathetic and poorly-managed place.

Well for starters they took my reservation for a night they were closed...thanks alot that messed up the Eve. Next day went..and had a positively average dinner with huge price tag. Fish was wildly overcooked...sauce they served with was much too thick and flour/corn starch laced.

Wonderful stay. Just loved our interior balcony room. Very close to all the action happening in the French Quarter, but the room was still quiet. I'd definitely stay here again.
