Residence Inn West Orange

I stayed here for 3 nights and I loved the space of their studio 1 king bed. The only thing I didn't like was the pillows. They were seem to be too flat for me.

Everything is like brand new in the rooms. Fantastic place to stay!!!!!! Very accommodating!!! Beds are super comfortable. Even the pillows!!! Pillows usually suck at hotels

This hotel was once terrific only a few years ago. Unfortunately, it is now appearing run-down and needs a serious face-lift. The rooms are suppose to have a fully equipped kitchen, but our room did not. The front desk mentioned that they were recently under-staffed, but hotels cannot ask high $$$$, $200+ nightly prices and not offer impeccable service and have fully maintained rooms. Our two room suite was not sufficiently cleaned and as mentioned the kitchen was not sufficiently equipped. During the current Covid-19 conditions, I found it especially concerning that the room had not been cleaned well.
Marriott corporation really needs to get a handle on their management concerning their hotels that are being poorly managed! : ( : (

Rooms are huge, some of the nicest I've ever seen. Super clean and up to date. Made getting ready for a wedding with a group super easy
Free breakfast was great.
Some of the staff is top brass.... some seem confused by day to day tasks. The spread between the good and the not so good is pretty wide. Most guests didn't get welcome bags.
Lots of guests had issues booking for the wedding block and check-in, but in the end it all worked out.
