Nice 1 bedroom condo and beautiful resort. Kitchen is well stocked. Beach chairs were a bonus. Tiny view of ocean but nice because it's quiet. Beach out front was big and never crowded, great sand, lots of waves and great snorkeling. Pretty steep though - need to watch small children closely. Nice walking path to Whaler's Village. Short drive to Lahaina. On-site Dukes Restaurant is great. Workout gym, Spa and small market all in building - convenient and very nice. Highly recommend.Report

The Honua Kai resort and grounds is gorgeous, but this particular room k-930 smelled like cigarette smoke. A few workers came to check it out and said they couldn’t smell it, so it never got resolved. It was really bad at times and our young kids found it really bad. I would stay at the honua Kai again, just not in this room unfortunately.Report

The Honua Kai was a great place to stay for a week. The condo was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked-we cooked breakfast several times. We enjoyed the patio and having the patio doors open at times. We spent time at the pool and also snorkeled right at the resort beach area. The location was nice for exploring Maui. Overall was a perfect stay!Report
