Maui Resort Rentals

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was clean and well maintained with comfortable beds and an amazing view. Communication was fantastic with the management company-great directions for check in and out and a speedy response when we had questions. The property, beach ad pool are beautiful and we loved having Duke's so conveniently located.

Our family has used Maui Resort Rentals for a few years now, and every time we are pleased with how easy and responsive they are. The accommodations are wonderful and exactly what is advertised. Highly recommend.

The Whaler #918 has a beautiful view! From the lanai, you can see over a few buildings and some palm trees to Black Rock cove and the ocean waves rolling in. Spectacular! You can see people in the distance walking on the black rocks, swimming, and lazing on the sand. The Whaler #918 is very clean and very nicely updated. Excellent water pressure for the shower, comfortable king bed, clean sofa and side chair upholstery, clean flooring (no carpet), chairs for 4 people both at the indoor table and at the lanai table, kitchen appliances all work great, basic supplies are provided— salt/pepper, cooking oil, pots/dishes/implements, dishwasher pods, liquid soap, sponge, paper towels, coffeemaker doesn’t need filters, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner/body wash in wall containers in shower, hand lotion by the single bathroom sink with nice counter space for the toiletries you bring. Room darkening drapes and sheer drapes. Two beach chairs, a little heavy for seniors to carry, medium size cooler, two beach umbrellas. Maui Resort Rentals provided fantastic service—very highly recommended! We needed help working the two TV remotes, getting more hangers, finding code for the safe…all handled promptly. Huge storm while we were there (mid-Feb. 2026); the entire west coast, including The Whaler, lost power, so we left early. So glad we bought trip insurance. We’ve been to The Whaler before and enjoyed all the amenities—wonderful place to stay, and The Whaler #918 has all you need, including a superb view.

We stayed for two weeks and the accommodations and staff were both excellent. We had some maintenance issues and all were address professionally and in a timely manner. The team was attentive and the location cannot be beat. This was our second year here, and we will be coming back again next year for some sun, fun, and warm weather while the rest of the country freezes in February:)!

We stayed in unit 550 in the Konea tower and loved it! Such a great view of the ocean out of the large deck. Maui Resort Rentals was very quick to respond to questions and needs we had.

Our family stayed in January 2026. We had a wonderful time at Honua Kai Konea 543. This was our second stay at Honua Kai and would definitely come back again! The pools are great, the beach was swimable, and the turtles and whales put on quite the show. We enjoyed going to Duke’s or ordering pool-side. There are plenty of other food options including snacks/drinks at Whalers General Store in the building, and restaurants and grocery within walking distance. Both parking and valet were convenient options without any extra fees.

The room was very clean. They provided plenty of supplies and we would stay year again.
