Great place to stay when in town. Not too busy just before Christmas but I can guess during summer many more guests. Great looking pool area (see photos) especially with colored lights at night. Very good choices for breakfast buffet before going sightseeing. Free wifi and easy to sign on. Only downside was exit from hotel onto Washington Street which is major road. It can be a challenge to exit to go into town with on-coming traffic.Report

The beds were very comfortable. The daily breakfast was excellent with plenty of hot tasty choices. The pool is beautiful and the hot tub is a great perk when it is cold out. Our stay was top notch. I highly recommend this hotel.Report

We made a quick getaway to Fredericksburg for our Anniversary. We did enjoy the upgraded room we received being Platinum Elite Members. The staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient. Housekeeping did an exceptional job in our room. I would say the towels need to be replaced. They were pretty ragged and extremely rough. The breakfast needs some additional care also. The dishes were not kept full and the tables were not cleaned. However, besides these little problems, we had a great time.Report

Holiday Inn Express and Suites is now my go to hotel. Breakfast buffet was very nice, the bed and bath were perfect. Having liquid soap dispensers in the shower was a great touch.Report
