Holiday Inn Express Albany

Front Desk staff were very helpful. The hotel was very nicely decorated for Christmas and was inviting.

The pool would have been nice if it were warmer!! Watch out when parking your car during check-in. We were approached by 2 unkempt looking people asking for money. They were not kind or nice but awful. Need a few more lights in the parking lot.

This is our Albany hotel when visiting family in the area. Convenient to stores, restaurants, the Mall and out family.

Worn down sofa, worn down bed, cranky morning staff, garbage breakfast buffet. If you ever stayed in a nice holiday Inn skip this one it will spoil your overall experience.

Room was clean but not. The sofa cushions had stains that were old and set in, the padding behind headboard was clearly worn in above one of the beds, there were no towels in bathroom. Night staff was friendly during check in but morning shift clearly didn't want to be there. We didn't even wait for check out to leave. Free breakfast was a bowl of cereal . Wouldn't recommend

My family and I will only stay at this hotel when we go to Albany to visit. The staff and customer service is wonderful and the rooms are very nice and super clean. Breakfast is a little lack luster but I think that has a lot to do with Covid. I am however happy that they do provide a hot breakfast because so many hotels advertise it but when you arrive will not provide anything at all and will continue to charge you the same price or more for your stay. Overall, I am very satisfied with the service I received for the price paid.

Hotel was pleasant and peaceful. Professional and upscale setting I would recommend to others.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years and this was the first time I was dissatisfied with some things. The pull out sofa had a urine smell and felt like it was all spring no padding at all. Due to past visits my family and I were looking forward to the breakfast but was very disappointed. There were only a couple options and it didn't taste very well. Overall my family and I had a good stay and will likely choose this hotel again but hope the great breakfast we were used to returns and better sofa bed mattresses.
