Holiday Inn Detroit Lakes - Lakefront

The Beds were super comfortable and very soft sheets. Someone was always cleaning and the hotel was very clean all the time. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This is a very safe clean hotel. Although there is renovation going on so far have heard no noise or had any distraction. The dining here and bar that has live music also great. Always considerate staff here too. It's really my favorite local hotel stay. It's very centrally located too and just off highway the the best of both worlds that way.

I'm grateful the restaurant is staffed and serving. The quality as far a flavor is concerned is average. No great flavor. Missed when you could purchase pasta dishes with tomato sauce. Alfredo is Ok. Room service dinner menu is limited if you don't send a burger. They should offer restaurant specials for room service

This hotel could be great. It is right in the water and near a beautiful walking path. Unfortunately the rooms are very dated. They were doing some construction when we were there 11/23/21 but I am not sure what they were working on. (Note: we did not hear the construction just saw some signs and equipment, so it didn't inconvenience us at all) with some updates this Holiday Inn could feel like a beautiful resort on the water.

The facility provided us with what we needed...quiet space, comfortable bed, and good food

We enjoy this place. Clean and convenient rooms, with food available on site. Prices are on par with what you get. Just a generally nice all around place to stay in DL.

Ice House restaurant is Awesome.
Our waitress was named Joy and she is possibly the best waitress in Detroit Lakes and is always so friendly when we go there. Awesome food and fast service

I stayed at the hotel over deer opener Nov 5-8 while my husband stay out at deer camp. It was a nice quiet weekend to myself before we headed to Montana Monday. The room was clean, room service was great. I had a room with a balcony and the sunrise and sunset were perfect.
