Reception was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Hotel is clean and comfortable. On second floor you can hear the subway every few mins throughout the night.
If room was quieter, I would give the hotel 4.5 stars. They shouldn't have rooms om the second floor if you can hear and feel the subway.

This hotel was on suggested list for a wedding I attended. I had not heard of the Even brand of hotels before. New York hotels seem to be in a category all their own ( I have stayed in the city several times) For the price I expected much smaller room and less amenities. The room was great for my (adult) daughter and myself to spread out our clothes and necessities.
The front desk staff were very helpful in answering our questions and recommendations. We were always greeted (when they were not busy) on our way out and on our return from our exploring, wedding, Genesis concert and restaurants.
The exercise equipment and yoga items in room were a surprise but appreciated. The subway station was a short walk and easy to navigate. Next time a event brings me to NYC I will definitely stay here.

My husband and I chose this hotel based on budget, location, and rewards program. It was our first time staying at an IHG property and I would definitely stay again. From check-in through checkout, we were given friendly, warm greetings. We didn't experience any issues other than not being able to lower the window shade, but it didn't interfere with our sleeping or safety. The room was clean and equipped with workout aides as shown in the photos. Overall, our stay was great!
