I recently stayed here for one night after traveling around Arizona looking at colleges. And as I travel quite often I usually know what to expect and have standard for hotels. This hotel did not live up to those. As I entered the hotel the location was great and the lobby was new and maintained and was great. This was completely the opposite of the rest of the time I stayed here. The front desk staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. They even gave me the wrong room number. And when I even got to the correct room. It was in appalling condition. There were stains everywhere
The room was completely disgusting. I eventually got a different room that was slightly better; however it still did not meet my personal standards. And then later that night the hotel was extremely loud and I could not even close the curtains. I will not be coming back to this hotel, or probably any crowne plaza location, nor will I be recommending it.

All was well, 5 star, until we found no place for guest to park on a Friday night

When the water tastes this bad they should consider putting more then 2 small bottles of water in each suite.
AC was loud enough to wake someone while sleeping.

We had a company party and at the end of the night I asked for a water the service said we are done and walked away, I had to walk to the bar and ask for a water which wasn't my problem.

Love how clean the rooms are compared to other resorts

Very disappointed. A rare bad review but this one absolutely deserves it. I travel for work often so I know what to expect from hotels in general...

I booked this through their website and rewards program. Showed up late because of our adventures and was greated by someone clearly mad at her computer. She was frustrated and it rubbed off on how rushed she was. The website clearly stated the room included a free beer upon arrival, free breakfast, and a discount at the restaurant nearby (which we love and have frequented for years) - I have the screenshot. However when I asked for the beer coupon she said it wasn't included. I began pulling up thr website to show her and she says "whatever, I'll just give you one" like I had done something wrong.

The room was for my son (a child) and I we lived nearby for almost a decade and after visiting Scottsdale attractions he wanted to stay here and enjoy the Tumbleweed tree, and our old favorite restaurants. We're very familiar with the grounds, lobby, restaurants - just never been in a room.

Well, apparently everyone else has been in this room and it shows. Unbelievably disgusting carpet with bodily fluids, alcohol, and gum not just staining it, but still ON IT (photos). Weird gooey stuff dripping down the walls, baseboards, etc (photos). The counters near bed and bed frame itself haven't been dusted in decades (photos). Bathroom had not been cleaned as there was urine all over the seat and toilet bowl along with pubes (photos). The overall room was trashed as wallpaper was peeling everywhere, stains throughout (photos) - damage to doors, counters, walls, furniture, and shower (photos)... she put us in the back and there was a guy in a car with a busted headlight and a busted taillight that drove back and forth like a creeper. There's connex boxes all over back there so I'm sure it's prime for theft, and this creep was proving my point.

Anyway this room wasn't good enough to rent by the hour much less for nearly $185 per night. We left the room right away, went back to the counter (the lobby is great and gives the impression you're not at the no-tell-motel which our room was used as), and I told the same lady the room was disgusting and we couldn't stay in it. She says "so you want to cancel the reservation then"... never even asking for details as if she was aware (I had photos ready)- again, like this was my fault or my son's fault... so at 1030pm as tired as we were, I had to get on my phone and book another hotel. Very, very, very disappointed. My family has strong roots in this town and history even at this property. My son and I could not be more disappointed.

Do not stay here unless you're using the room for the $2 pleasure ride it's barely worth and bring your hazmat suit with disinfectant. Looks are incredibly deceiving at the San Carlos "resort" hotel in downtown Chandler.

Highly recommend! Very Clean, very modern, landscape well maintained, amenities were awesome. A all the way around.

Love the history of the resort.
