how this hotel is still opene after the Jenkins case ?

Pros:
-excellent pool (spacious area so the chlorine smell wasn't oppressive like at some hotels, relatively warm, large, and lap lines) and fitness center.
-although we didn't use the various restaurants, there were plenty of options and the public spaces looked nice
-comfortable beds
-the staff were attentive and helpful

Cons:
-with the $25 parking fee and no complementary breakfast for my stay paid with IHG points, this "free" stay ended up being nearly as expensive as paying cash at a place with parking and breakfast, so this was a bad use of points. I even cancelled a future booking at this property because I got little-to-no value from the points I paid for the stay.
-the bed had only one thin blanket (plus sheets) so we were cold even though the thermostat was at 75
-there was no vent in the bathroom, so the moisture had taken its toll on the paneling, drywall, etc.
-no hot tub

Gave a good discount for the Midwest Furfest con. A nice place to stay at.

Mainly disappointed about parking policy. No where on the site did it say NO TRAILERS. Called 2 months ahead to ask if they did, said yes if we pay for two spots. Call the day of arrival to check on spacing. Still told, yes, if we pay for two spots. Get there, NOPE. NO TRAILERS ALLOWED. Had to find parking 5 miles away from our venue. Then the next day we see 6 trailers in the parking lot. We complained, told they had a "contract" with the hotel which was a lie cause they were also vendors at the same venue. They kept saying that they had a policy but could not provide any proof.

Hard beds, sheets only, had to request for a comforter. Would not recommend as a comfortable stay.

I would stay again in a heartbeat. Courteous and prompt hotel employees and comfortable room.
