I came in for a suspension diagnostic for my E60. I had a feeling my lower control arm was bad but needed a professional opinion on anything else i should replace before i begin ordering parts. Phil was great from the start. They took my car in immediately and discovered i needed to change my control arms and shocks. I took my car previously to The Stance Shop and the owner himself stated it was my steering rack which is a $1000 repair for the labor alone and about $1300 for the part. For $55, i got a thorough diagnostic and even pictures of exactly what needed to be replaced. They definitely take their time here with the cars and don’t try to swindle you.Report

Went in for a brake flush and oil change on an M2 and was in an out in 90 mins. Definitely will be coming back for all maintenance and performance needs! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend mSpec!Report

Brought my 2019 BMW 440i Gran Coupe here to get a my ECS tuning charge pipe and MST cold air intake installed , All the guys were professional and they did not try and rob me with pricing either. I am planning to bring my car back very soon. I highly recommend this shopReport

The most fun part of getting service done here is that the shop’s work and your driving skill are immediately put to the test seeing as you have to drive home through Middle Village. Though the work’ll hold up, your nerves might not be so lucky.Report
Jokes aside, M-Spec does a great job. They’re thorough, quick, reasonably priced, communicative, and transparent. You get a portal link texted to you with the services performed on your car, progress, recommendations, and video proof if there’s something that needs attention. This is a big step up from the vast majority of shops, and even dealerships out there- especially if you’re a little neurotic about your car.
If you want tuning or mods installed, they’ll help you out with that too (provided it’s legal), which I haven’t seen much of in NYC.
I’ve been a car owner here for around 6 years now, and this has been my favorite shop to go to.

History Established in 2005. In 2005, Adam and Eddie started M-Spec Performance in a single car garage in Adam's backyard. After the neighbors got tired of the endless BMWs taking up their parking spaces, Adam and Eddie decided to move their business to a small, rented out a garage space in Bayside. After about a year here, they expanded to their first real shop in Glendale in late 2007. However, even this was not enough room for the quickly growing business. M-Spec Performance recently doubled its size with a move to the current location in Middle Village, NY. This new shop is 5,000 square feet and has been completely renovated to fulfill the needs of the ever growing customer base.
