JES Foundation Repair

They have been here three times to repair what they did wrong. EVERY time they messed up something else. Holes keep sinking, downspout pipe put together with tape that cannot hold once the ground is wet, finished basement flooded in a quarter of the floor, repair was worse than the original work. I've lost two pickup loads of flooded items from the basement. Over six months and the ground is sinking AGAIN. No contact other than texts that they will send the same crew out again. Asked for diferent crew and was told they would do that but the same crew came again and again. Obviously they are incompetent and don't respond once they have your check.

Mikel Hill, Denver King, and Victorini Joya did a great job on installing a Jack in out basement. Professional and very neat. Would recommend this field team.

Mr. Eric Oliver came to do a free estimate and was extremely honest. He gave me some more information to help me plan ahead for future basement plans. He was extremely intelligent and was able to pull information very quickly. I will definitely be contacting him for my mold needs.

we spoke with this company 3 months ago In July when they scheduled an appointment to do the work in Oct. Price and all. then sent someone out to look at our front porch in Oct. and decided that they couldn't do the job? And of course ,after we pulled all our siding off for them . I expected them to be professional and could do a small job? Were just homeowners, Its not a huge job Just a 12 ft front porch. Would not waist your time.

We had some concerns with some spots in the basement (water spots, white spots) and called JES for a free estimate/inspection. Eric Oliver came and was fantastic. Knowledgeable, honest and straight forward. Really appreciated the explanation for what we were seeing and now have the peace of mind that we don’t have any major issues. Thanks Eric!

In March, 2022 we had JES come inspect our crawl space for a suspected foundation issue. We were told there was no issue but we wound up encapsulating our crawl space and installing a dehumidifier there to keep it dry. In October, 2022 we had JES perform a semi-annual inspection and lo and behold they found pools of water on top of the encapsulation. This month, November, 2022 our deck replacement project was started with another contractor when they discovered the band board in back of the house had rotted all the way through and that the back of the house had sunk 3/4 of an inch. Why this wasn't discovered from within the crawl space when JES did their initial inspection is beyond me, since its clear the wood had rotten all the way through (see photos) but we don't feel good about the work JES performed and feel like we simply wasted our money.

I hope that my experience is not the norm with this company, but I felt the need to share my viewpoint. My first interaction with the company was excellent, the site inspector came out and spent a lot of time looking at our foundation and talking with us to explain what needed to happen. The quote was shockingly high, more expensive than a new car, but my wife and I decided that we needed to ensure the integrity of our house’s foundation. Once we signed a contract and paid the deposit, the problems started. There were several communication issues related to scheduling the work in our house, and it seems that the various departments do not have satisfactory protocols in place to communicate with each other. Once the company finally came on site to complete the work, they stated that they could only complete about 1/3 of the original project due to a construction idiosyncrasy of our house. This issue should have been caught during the initial inspection. We were then given an updated quote which was about a third of the original price. The company, however proceeded to charge us the entire initial quote. I called the finance office and asked to speak to someone, he told me that he was unable to bring it up that day because of computer issues but would call me back the next day. It is now been about a week and a half. I have also been awaiting a phone call from our site inspector for three weeks now, I have called multiple times and texted with no response. To put the icing on the cake, a representative called me after the job and asked me how things were, and when I answered that I was not satisfied with the company’s communication, she said she would have the job superintendent call me back within a couple days. That was about four weeks ago. I have tried several times in the past week to get a hold of someone in the main office, but the past two days I was unable to even get a receptionist to pick up at the office. I give them two stars because the work in the basement looks good, however, they put the exterior drain in an awful location, which was not where they told me they would put it. If you choose to deal with this company, I hope you have a much better experience than I do.
