Very happy with the inspection, very well informed of the inner workings of a old house, extremely knowledgeable of all systems, oil, electric, roofing,water, did a very detailed inspection, explained everything in great detail, the whole experience from appt to final report and findings was great, highly recommend Inspections by BOB

I'm a first-time home buyer, and hired Bob to conduct a home inspection, based on the glowing recommendations of my realtor. I'm so glad I did. Bob was SUPER helpful and informative and willing to answer all of my questions. I learned so much during the inspection that I will put to use right after closing. To make a competitive offer on the house, I hadspecified that I wouldn't require the seller to make any repairs for issues identified during inspection, so Bob's advice will be INVALUABLE. Other than the excellent and thorough job he did inspecting my house, I really liked that Bob was clearly a very honest man with the highest in ethical business practices. Plus, he had great stories about notable or hilarious home inspections he's conducted in the past! I would definitely recommend him to any friends or family who need a home inspection. I had a great experience with Bob.

I'm extremely impressed by Bob. He is so thorough and professional. He also taught us many things we would never have thought of on how to take care of houses, safety issues, etc... You can't buy a house without Bob. I highly recommend Bob to everybody.

Bob did a great job pointing out the problems an inexperienced home buyer like myself would have jumped into. He is diligent, helpful, and can express in simple terms why a supposed non-issue could be a headache.

Bob's inspection was thorough and satisfactory. He showed up ahead of the appointed time. As a first home buyer, I had lots of questions about many things. He answered all my questions and advised me on many things that a home owner should know and take care of. He took a lot of photos, showed them to me, and explained what he found. His report was thorough as his inspection and included the photos with detailed explanations. He sent the report that night in a PDF file. The results were used very effectively used to point out what should be fixed by the seller in the process of home buying. I will definitely hire him again for any home inspection in the future.

Welmoed (Mrs. Bob) went above and beyond in my inspection, taking her time and thoroughly following every line, checking every switch and window, army crawling through the crawl space, and investigating every panel. It's amazing how many access panels were in that house. She answered all of my questions as a first time homebuyer and stayed at the house 4.5 hours, writing up the report, providing me with literature and resources, documenting all of the issues in writing and with pictures-and who knew such a nice looking house with so many permits would have so many major issues?

While I am disappointed to have to go back to house hunting, I'm so glad Welmoed saved me 10s of thousands of dollars in fixing illegal wiring, an unsafe furnace location, and improper post supports in the basement. I'll absolutely have her come and look at the next house, and will feel confident in my choice if it gets her seal of approval.
