Steven is very professional, knowledgable and takes great pride in helping others through Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupunture. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for alternative treatments for a spectrum of concerns (e.g. headaches, back pain, weight concerns, neurological problems, fatigue, etc).

I am so happy that I found Steven Sonmore and my only regret is that I didn't find him sooner. I had suffered from head pressure, neck pain and headaches that would plague me from the moment I woke up to the moment I finally fell asleep. A deep, chronic, thumping pain that stole a lot of joy from my life. I saw a traditional chiropractor for 6 months and did have some relief of my pain but only for it to crop back up with a vengeance later.
I finally in tears went to my family doctor who put me on muscle relaxers which also helped but I still had a dull roar of a pain and was also groggy from the side effects of the medication. Knowing I didn't want to be on muscle relaxers the rest of my life and realizing that I had a core imbalance that medicine was only hiding- I looked up acupuncture and easily pinpointed Steven as the most educated and experienced in his field.
One of the first things he said to me at our initial meeting was " I can help you." It wasn't a possibility of health or a chance that it would get slightly better... it was a confident proclamation that he could help me, and he hasn't let me down. I have now had 10 treatments and each and every time I feel as if my baseline of health is improving. I haven't made it easy on him either as in addition to the head and neck issues I had a week long sinus infection and have been a terrible bundle of stress with an upcoming cross country move.
Each time he has graciously listened and always ask questions to ensure that he understands exactly how my body is feeling and reacting to each treatment. The Chinese herbs he recommended have been lifesavers and he has also instructed me on other life changes I can make such as diet to enhance my quality of life. He is very kind and sincere and makes you feel comfortable and at ease with any concerns you may have and you leave knowing that he truly cares about your progress.
I truly wish I would have followed my instincts sooner and reached out to him as I know I would have saved myself a lot of pain and stress. I plan on reaching out to an acupuncturist who is trained in the method that Steven is as soon as we reach our new home and am confident that my baseline of health will keep improving. I will forever be grateful for his care and concern for my health. I would encourage anyone who is suffering with chronic pain to reach out and take that step towards not only better health but a better life.

I am a fulltime musician (guitarist) living and working in the Twin Cities. I saw Steve for pain and paralysis in my right arm and shoulder. I had tried the "western medicine" route and got the suggestion of getting an MRI. Because of a lack of health care insurance,this method would have cost me thousands of dollars, out of pocket, just to get a possible diagnosis and treatment option (at additional cost).
