Lubbock Science and Environment

• Lubbock Lake Landmark  - Archaeological and natural history preserve with details about the Clovis and other prehistoric cultures. Features location, tours, exhibits, hours, programs, and newsletters.
• Lubbock Master Gardeners  - Lubbock's Master Gardener course is offered once a year beginning in mid-January. In exchange for their training, persons who become Master Gardeners contribute time as volunteers.
• Lubbock Memorial Arboretum  - An exhibit of the best trees, shrubs, vines and other ornamental plants which can be grown in the area, this site offers arboretum history, membership information, calendar of events, information about activities and educational programs and volunteer opportunities.
