Not one to leave bad reviews and originally I was not going to comment on these situations over the last year but I figured I'd save other people the hassle now that I've made the decision to move all of my pets to a new vet. I had been taking my animals to West Stanly Animal Clinic for about 3ish years and at first it was great! However, I think something may be going on. A friend of mine was visiting from out of town and brought his dog with him, she had gotten into something and he wanted to have it looked at, I recommended West Stanly since it was where I took my pets. He showed up with his dog and they denied to see her at all because he was not an existing client. Thought it was kinda weird but whatever, he took her somewhere else and it was resolved. Well, then I came across an injured kitten that I was going to be taking in. I bring her to them and tell them I am an existing client and they refuse all service because they didn't "know the kitten". Despite me having other pets there, because they had not seen the kitten prior to injury she was denied any help. There is a lot more to it but moral of the story is they broke my trust. I would like a vet that I know will consistently help my pets when i need them and based off of other reviews I have read it appears they are turning down other existing clients as well for less severe situations in pets they have treated in the past. Do not recommend, treatment is not consistent.
