I wish I could give this more than five stars! Easy booking and check-in process

835 laketown warf, super clean, huge one bedroom condo, management is awesome,! Rates are great and it is very charmingly decorated

Booking throught Vacations Perfected last year was an amazing experience and at the beginning of this year's experience, I would have said the same thing.

I had to contact Vacations Perfected twice during our trip in July and neither of those times were satisfactory. At neither point did the representative act like they wanted to assist and pawned the issues off on the resort who told me to contact Vacations Perfected. Seriously considering using another agency next year.

Hi Tommy, I believe your issues were internet related. We have absolutely no control over the internet or ethernet wiring in the building. We actually state in our check-in instructions that we have no control over the internet and we give you the tech support number.

I rented a condo for 8 people. When we got there the pull out sofa was nasty the next day I texted vacation perfected that we couldn't use sleeper sofa. 2 days later it still wasn't usable. I notified vacation perfected again. I did not pay for an 6 person condo I paid for an 8 person. It never got cleaned nor was I offered the difference for an 6 person condo

We sincerely apologize for your experience. We strive to provide the best vacation rental possible. Sometimes circumstances are cause for less than perfect results. We are doing the best we can with the limited resources available. Unfortunately, Panama City Beach is not isolated from the pressures of the nations job market post COVID. With increased demand and limited workers to perform services, this has been a tough year for everyone in the hospitality market. That said, we want nothing more than to change your perception. Positives - great view, great location. The rental service was very pleasant to deal with. They even let us check in an hour early because we didn't plan for the time zone change. When the parking garage was full they even let us park at their office which was very close.
Great communication and response times.

Now onto the room and facility.

I don't blame the rental agency for this, but the building security was extremely rude to us for asking basic questions, and the entire resort was extremely over crowded. The elevator situation was a complete disaster. We were on the 8th floor with 2 young kids. Stairs were out of the question. Beach wagon, tent kids toys cooler stroller. No way we are using stairs.
It was so crowded the elevators were impossible to get on. One evening we waited 40 minutes just to get one an elevator that wasn't completely full. This went on all week, no exaggeration. It was extremely frustrating.
The parking garage. An absolutely mess. It's extremely narrow , but after going to diner in the evening every single spot was full and we had to park down at the rental agency. We later found out their security gate was broken and that's probably why it was maxed out.

Now onto the room- we were let in one hour early after they double checked to make sure it was cleaned.
The room was disgusting. Our kids feet in the first moments of taking off their shoes were filthy black . We immediately went and bought our own cleaning supplies and cleaned it ourselves.
The couches were absolutely gross. Stained all over with god knows what and the commissions torn. We refused to sit on them they were so gross. Broken dining chairs, broken chains on ceiling fans, broken light out on the balcony. The curtains to the balcony stained and gross.
It gets better, on our 3rd or 4th night was found several cockroaches in the kitchen. We killed them and found more of them the next couple of nights also.

We should have billed them for the amount of cleaning and bug killing we had to do. Now we are home and are afraid to take our bags in our house in fear roaches are hiding in them.

I wish I was making all of this up but the fact that we spent 3k to stay there in those conditions is crazy. It's made me sick to my stomach and almost feel like we were robbed.

Luckily the city itself and the beach was able to save our vacation.

We absolutely will never come back, I wouldn't recommend a visit either unless you love bugs and dirt.

Cancelled last min a week before my vacations for me and my 3 children and then didn't have a care in the world that I saved up money to take this trip and then on top of everything I haven't received my refund and every time I call they have excuses... it's been hell never will I go through these people again. The worst company ever!!!! Beware!!!!!!!! They will ruin your whole year. The lady who answers the phone grace she had no care in the world her company just ruin my vacation plans.. customers beware their company is trash!!!!! They will take your money and run!!!!!!!

We have stayed at Shores of Panama 5 times now. This time in unit 325. The view was nice as expected but the condo was lacking in several areas. First, every time the air conditioner was running, it had a loud whining noise. The tech came by (while we were at the beach so we didn't get to speak to him) and said it was working properly per our later phone call since the tech did not close the door fully, we were mortified to come back to the door open. The was actually the 2nd trip for the tech since the ice maker did not work and the patio door would not lock. We were there when he came the 1st time and told us he had been at the unit the day before looking at the ice maker and was already aware that it did not work, yet we were not told in advance. They did bring us a bag of ice after I mentioned that if we had known, we would have stopped and bought some ice when we arrived in town.
The unit is very low in kitchen dishes, silverware and glasses. I had to hand wash daily to have some to use. Not their fault, but whoever stayed before us put away cookware, spatulas and other serving pieces back in the drawer dirty. I had to clean many items, but I would not expect the cleaners to go through the drawers. Prior guests should have put them in the dish washer.
The pictures had 2 tall chairs on the balcony, something I always look for when booking so I can see over the railing. They were not there and when I asked the agent, she said they had been broken and removed. The listing should have been updated. There were no loungers either on the balcony, just chairs.
They also need a small dresser or something for storage/place to put things for the 2nd bathroom for the bunkbeds area. I had to bring a chair from the dinette set in the bathroom to use for a place to set the clothes I wanted to wear after shower. The 2nd bathroom was large, but the shower is incredibly tiny. Only used it once, rest of the time, we took turns using the master shower/tub combo.
Very little counter space in either bathroom and no hooks on the back of the door to hang a robe or the clothes you plan to wear after shower. Nothing can be done about the counter space, but I've never had a condo without at least one door hook for a place to put clothes.
We came in mid May, but many teens and college kids were out of school and were loud, very loud, screaming at all hours of the evening. It has become a thing for one to start screaming from their balcony and others start screaming as well. (New version of marco-polo) One particular night, the screaming went on for One night at 1 am, someone even set off the fire alarm. And everyone was told to evacuate. Not cool!
Even though the facility was maybe 2/3 full, there were rarely any free lounge chairs and the hot tub was overcrowded with teens and college kids every time I looked.
This used to be a wonderful resort, but has been taken over by young people who feel they can intrude on everyone else's vacation so we will not be returning for a 6 time.

We were impressed from the moment we walked in to the room. It really was just as we expected and more. The pool was great the staff was great all the way to the beach. This was our first trip to the beach with our kids and we would definitely recommend this place for anyone going to Panama City Beach! Thanks again for a great vacation????
