Horrible, 3 time at UPMC facility and still no answers for my daughters chest pains and abnormal ekg. Was told to take morning and then sent home with discharge papers that had a false diagnosis stating that her chest pain was due to a strained muscle when we were told by Dr. Locally that they have no idea why she is having chest pains. Place is a joke.

Children's hospital has lost their standard of care. My daughter was there twice this year once for hitting her head and another for having a seizure as a result of a high fever. Each visit she had her vitals taken by a nurse and then brushed off by the supervising doctor. Never actually examined by one. The first experience I complained to anyone who would listen. I was shocked because of the seriousness of her fall and her presenting symptoms completely indicated a concussion, but they didn't even offer a CT scan or clean sheets after she had thrown up. Today after being there receiving the same level of care. I've realized that children's hospitals no longer hold themselves to a standard of care. If you have bumps and bruises I think you would be okay going there but if your child is sick and experiencing something with a sense of urgency that requires a Doctor I highly recommend going to any other hospital.

I have no words for how amazing the staff was. We were in Pittsburgh on vacation when our 2 year old hurt his arm and they were nothing short of amazing. Thank you so much to all who helped, you are angels

Very nice facility. very highly educated doctors. I respect a lot to Dr. Fox. She is great human being. We have been seeing her since June. She is always helpful, and very kind. To me she is God for us. She treated us very well. Also Amanda, Rachael, and Emily they are great nurse. They also treat us well. Also there were Rhosanda at guardian waiting area, she is excellent. She is very hard working person. She knows how everyone is going thru, so she is very kind to everyone. She deserve a credit.

Thanks to UPMC CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. My granddaughter is now making a full recovery from Lead poisoning. Plus she had major surgery there. Which saved her life in the long-run.

I use to have high respect for this hospital and recommend people here for there kids when working on the ambulance, but after this experience with having my 9 month old daughter there I'll never tell anyone to come here. I shouldn't have to tell a registered nurse how to do there job when it's basic ems at the beginning in triage.

We were treated well when my son, Rory had an asthma scare that took us to the ICU. Our nurses were amazing. Respiratory therapists were great. Dr. Michael Certo saved our son's life and we will always be thankful for him.
