The South Towne Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1969 by Dr. Frank Powell and his wife, Judy. The practice began to grow quickly and in 1972 Dr. Tompsett joined the practice. He became a partner in 1974, and purchased the practice in 1989. It didn't take long for Dr. Edward Gschrey to become a partner to the practice in 1992 and gained full ownership in 2002. Here at the South Towne Veterinary Hospital we strive to provide the highest standards of veterinary care for your pets . Our focus is to provide a broad spectrum of different diagnostic procedures. This includes ultrasound procedures on a referral basis, digital x-ray on site, dental x-rays and a laser for surgical procedures which benefits by faster healing, less bleeding and lowered risk of infection. We also collaborate with a Board Certified Surgeon for advanced orthopedic surgeries that are performed here at the South Towne Veterinary Hospital with our team.
