Krista gave wonderful advice and I needed this store to really test a bed that I would be sleeping on for quite some time and a big financial investment. Glad I took the time, worth the effort!!

After searching, falsely thinking I could trust the online reviews to meet MY sleeping needs, buying and returning two mattresses, I as done with online mattress buying! Or so I thought.
I couldn't give up and continued searching online for a solution, during this time I found The Sleep Sherpa showroom in San Diego.
What a breath of fresh air. Here, at this showroom you can try many of the mattresses sold only online. Yay! Ben Trapskin and his team know their stuff.
The customer service provided here is above and beyond.
I highly recommend this showroom to any and all looking for an honest ear to hear your mattress wows and needs.

We walked in with a few mattresses in mind already that we wanted to try out after being unimpressed with the price to quality ratio of major brands such as Sealy and Tempurpedic, to try other brands and models such as the Nest Sparrow, Big Fig(*), Helix and many others not available in many stores. We were greeted by Ben, very friendly and knowledgeable. We were not pressured at all.
My wife and I were presented with several options of what we were looking for and left to talk about it and discuss amongst ourselves, and if we had any questions, Ben made himself available and offered his expert opinion and made suggestions of what to try for problems we are experiencing, such as lumbar pain in the lower back, mattresses formed depending on sleep positions, such as side sleeper who sometimes sleeps on their back, or my wife who is a side sleeper who sometimes sleep on her stomach.
(*)While the Big Fig was not available in store, Ben showed us a mattress that was, in his expert opinion is very comparable.
We walked out happy with our decision in buying a split king-sized Nest Sparrow mattress (firm/medium) and recommend this store to anyone who is struggling in finding their mattress, especially since you can try predominantly online only mattress brands. Take the opportunity to come down and try it instead of buying blindly online. Bravo, Ben! Thanks for the candle as well.

Highly recommend. Very knowledgeable and objective about all the different mattress options, including ones that weren't in the store. We did not feel we were being "sold to," they were not pushy at all. They helped us to compare a few different mattresses we were choosing between. It's a great small business to support, and our in-store price was as good as the best discounted online price we found. And this is such a cool concept. We did our research on a lot of the online direct-to-consumer mattresses, but it gives so much more peace of mind with the purchase to get to try out the mattress in person first--reduces the likelihood of going through the hassle of a return later.

Awesome service! The concept of this store is so smart. Try out all the beds you can only buy online. I had to check it out while shopping for my next king mattress. Krista was very nice and patient with me as I took my time to try out all the mattresses in the store! I ended up ordering the Winkbed a couple days later which was my favorite out of them all. Definitely a must visit location if shopping for a mattress.

Great place to test out mattresses sold online only. Friendly and helpful staff. Give you lots of space. Added a price match guarantee for next 30 days if a new sale started.

This was my first time shopping at Sleep Sherpa and I had a great experience working with one of their associates (Ben) via emails. Sleep Sherpa offered competitive pricing for X-chair products and it was the best pricing I could find for the product in my searching the internet. I was able to go to the X-Chair website to see all the option the manufacture offered to find which ones met my needs. Then I went to the Sleep Sherpa website to request a quote and quickly received a reply from a Sleep Sherpa associate named Ben. After a few back and forth questions I had regarding other X-Chair accessory products Ben was able to quickly respond and I was easily able to execute on my purchase at a great price. Sleep Sherpa does also sell X-Chair accessory products (i.e., X-Chair footrest) at competitive prices too.. I highly recommend exploring Sleep Sherpa to fill your needs if you are in the market for an X-Chair.

Impressive selection of online mattresses! Able to try out a lot of beds I heard of online but didn't want to buy then deal with the hassle of returning. The owner asked a lot of questions on my sleeping habits and had some recommendations on brands I didn't consider. Really great experience with zero pressure. Will be back again.

I had a wonderful experience at Sleep Sherpa! Ben was knowledgeable on everything there is to know about mattresses. He and his team were able to walk me through the many options available in the online market. I recommend them to rid of the guess work on what the best fit for you is.
