Glenn, your friendly nature, honest and genuine approach to me as I walked in removed all of my reservations about shopping for a mattress at a walk in showroom. You were professional, knowledgeable, funny, and honest about my questions in looking for a mattress that best suited my needs. You never pressured me in purchasing anything and helped me during my actual purchase today (I got a coupon!!). You were a pleasure to work with and I think you deserve above 5 stars. Sleep Sherpa in Chicago was an easy location to visit. We were greeted by Glen and he did a great job assisting us while we searched for our new mattress. His knowledge of the industry was extremely valuable in helping us make our choice. And helped us save $$ too!

I just want to start off by saying that buying your mattress at Sleep Sherpa is an amazing and stress free experience. Our salesman Glenn was amazing!! He was caring, patient and extremely knowledgeable in not only all of the products that Sleep Sherpa has, but most importantly the science of sleep and the effect of mattresses to our body. Glenn helped my wife and I as we tried a dozen or more mattresses and really let us take our time and see how they felt. Once we found what we liked, he helped us get the best deal possible as well as getting our financing set up. After sleeping on our new mattress for about a month, my wife and I decided that we really didn’t like the feel and effect that the mattress was giving us. Glenn instantly took care of us with no questions asked, getting us our full refund and opening the shop (on an off day) on his personal time , to help us try out a more comfortable bed. I cannot praise Glenn enough for his honest and caring personality. Glenn really cares about the health and well being of his customers people! Most other mattress stores are comparable to a car dealership. They want you to hurry and buy and if you are not happy, they use any excuse to not honor their own policies. I could not believe the level of care and service that we got with Glenn at Sleep Sherpa! The location is just off the express way and there is plenty of parking on the street with easy access to the showroom. I promise an A-1 experience to anyone that visits this store and deals with Glenn. This is a man that understands sleep, anatomy, mattress manufacturing and materials and most of all.......life and what we are all going through right now in this difficult time. Mattress shopping made easy at Sleep Sherpa -
We recently purchased a Saavta Luxury firm mattress direct from Saavta and will be returning it as it did not meet our expectations. Our 20 year old mattress that was removed wasn't much worse than the new one. Unfortunately we'll be paying the $99 pick up fee. Lesson learned. Knowing we wanted to actually lie on some mattresses but didn't want to get locked into a disappointing purchase at a brick and mortar chain, we decided to check out Sleep Sherpa. They carry top name brand mattresses available online. Glenn was very helpful in assisting us through the process of elimination until we ended up with a mattress that meets our needs. If the mattress doesn't work out for you, return it during the mfg free trial period and go back to find one you like better. There is no pressure or commissioned sales here which is very refreshing. Don't forget to check out the pillows. I fell in love with mine.

My husband and I worked with Glenn, not only is he professional, his knowledge is like the Cesar Millan of this industry. We will continue to conduct business with him because he's very attentive, patient, and rolls out the red carpet. We didn't feel like he was trying to sell us snow in Antarctica, but helped. We were pleased with the entire process, as well as the company itself. We recommend anyone looking for guarantees and a good night's sleep to stop by this hidden gem. I have been reading sleep Sherpa reviews for the past couple years. We have bought several of the recommendations and loved them. We purchased our mattress early 2020 after testing in the show room in Chicago. The sales person was very helpful with their wide range of online only mattresses; absolutely great place!

Definitely the best experience buying a mattress. Not like other mattress stores where you feel like you are buying a used car. No pressure sales and not commission based. Glenn F. is an extremely knowledgeable guy and was a great help during the entire process. Highly recommended!

Like many shoppers, we were overwhelmed with the number and type of mattresses on the market now. We hadn't purchased a mattress in 22 years, so all of the new materials and ways to buy had us overwhelmed. The mattress game is a whole new model now--there are many more interesting and affordable choices online, but we were hesitant to take a a chance based solely on reading reviews and descriptions. To us, a mattress is a big purchase. We wanted to try the mattress before buying, but how do to that when some of the best mattresses sell only online. We visited two retail stores in our area to try a hybrid and a memory foam of high quality (and high price.) But it was impossible to do side-by-side comparisons.

A friend recommended Sleep Sherpa, a large, airy shop in Chicago who has top-rated online brands in the showroom to try. This was exactly what we wanted--to be able to include online brands in our decision, but to try the mattresses too. Brands include Avocado, Purple, Lytton, PuffyLux, Tuft and Needle, and many others that consistently show up in top ratings. The prices are in line with online prices, which you'll find are much lower than going to mattress stores for more traditional mattress shopping.

We visited yesterday and had a great experience. Glenn was friendly, knowledgeable, and no pressure. You'll be "buzzed in." We were the only customers in the store on a midday, Monday. Sanitation stations were set up and masks are required. Glenn provided us with sanitary covers to be able to try mattresses with pillows (important!)

You'll start with the "Goldilocks test." He'll help you determine the "type" of mattress you like best (without seeing brand or price.) This will help you eliminate those that don't match your preferences for firmness and feel. Then you'll sample different mattresses that best meet your narrowed down preferences. You will first identify your best fit based purely on experience--not on brand marketing, not on price, just on feel.

Once we further narrowed down our preferences, Glenn shared the pros and cons of materials, brands, and prices. He had a great understanding of what would work best for us based on our needs. It was a no-pressure and positive experience.

We discovered we preferred a hybrid. You may discover you like the feel of the memory foam-topped mattresses. Whether you sleep alone or with a partner, your size, your sleep position, age, health needs, price range will all factor into the purchase. Being able to test run the differences helped us "get over" the fear of purchasing a newer mattress brand. We purchased a Lytton Sleep mattress that day. It will be delivered in a few weeks. (Glenn was able to beat the online prices I found too.) We were close to spending two and a half times more for a mattress from a retail store. So we are happy to have found Sleep Sherpa and benefit from Glenn's guidance.

Like most online mattresses, the one we chose comes with a 100-day return policy. This is important as time on the mattress will confirm whether or not the choice was still a good one.

We recommend Sleep Sherpa for those who want to go with an online brand (for better prices and high-rated mattresses) but who are wary of buying and trying without testing first. You'll be in good hands with Glenn.
