2 strikes and you're out in my book. Very disappointed in the online parts department to be helpful with a warranty concern on a recently purchased part. Full of excuses and referred me to my local dealer to have it addressed. Ford parts have a warranty, 2 years unlimited miles as specified on Ford's own website and I was seeking guidance on how to solve my problem, not get reasons why they couldn't help me. I will be looking elsewhere for my next FoMoCo parts purchase. Maybe when you've got the volume you don't have to care about your customers. The first strike was going to be my first order, I called and asked if a part was in stock. I immediately sent my order in, only to get an email saying it would be weeks to get in, so I cancelled. I tried again because my closest Ford dealer took over 2 hours of me waiting to order the part for me. Several good transactions with FPA since and I like the name. But I bought several OE parts vs aftermarket replacements because of the fit, function, and service I expect from Ford and their dealers. When I needed the service was left wanting.Report
12/21 Spoke with their parts manager, we'll see if this get resolved. I discussed several of the areas they failed and could have easily kept this an amicable experience, but do feel some appropriate concern was given to the matter.
