I have worked with Tom and the Premier team for over 12 years. As a business owner I can definitely say that Premier is one of the best companies to work with.

As the CEO of CUSTOM AEROSPACE MACHINE, a benchmark Aerospace Machining Company located in Brevard County Florida, I can honestly say that Premier Equipment has always been ready and willing to provide us with great quality equipment and service. When comparing them to other used machine tool dealers, premier has a straight forward approach and responds quickly to information requests. CAM has been buying and selling machines through Premier for many years, so this review spans many years of utilizing their services.

Been working with Tom and his guys for years. Great people and always a pleasure to do business with and trustworthy. Bought 4 Mazak lathes from Tom recently and machines showed up just as described and expected.

We purchased a large quarter million dollar Mori Seiki Horizontal Mill from Premier Equipment in Altamonte Springs, Florida. We were told that the machine had been inspected by a DMG Mori technician and that it “passed with flying colors”. We were told that we couldn’t see the inspection because another customer paid for it. We were also given in writing a Power up Guarantee Document. This document stated that the spindle, balls crews, control and tool changer will all be in working order at the time of power up. The document states that Premier equipment will either fix the issue or refund the machine if any of the components are not in working order. We were also assured verbally by the President that Premier Equipment stands behind their machines and that we should have no concerns.
We had our local factory DMG Mori technician install and inspect the machine. The technician found that the spindle had a runout of .0016” which is 400% over the factory tolerance. In addition the column geometry was out .003” which is 1000% over factory tolerance. Clearly this machine was not in working order and in reality had been wrecked! We sent the report to Premier Equipment and asked them to either pay for the spindle or refund the machine. Premier Equipment refused to do either.
I simply plead with any potentially customers. DO NOT make the same mistake that we did. Doing Business with Premier Equipment cost our company $40,000. We were forced to purchase and install a new spindle and correct the geometry on our own with zero help from Premier Equipment. They clearly do not stand by either their written agreement or their verbal assurances. We were deceived by Premier Equipment. Life is too short to deal with companies like Premier Equipment that have no integrity. Take your business elsewhere!
