I had put down a deposit to have work done on the aluminum trim coil which is underneath our box gutters. When the project manager came out to look at the project he said we actually didn't need to have to work done. They issued a full (and prompt) refund. I appreciated the honesty and integrity of the company.

Everyone was super friendly. Service was performed quickly which was awesome because a storm was happening later that day.

Cancelled a contract 2 business days after signing due to an "inability to complete the job ina timely manner" I understand this happens but I feel like they should have known this before signing anything. More disappointed then anything.

Problems every step of the way. The first estimator that came out took 2 hours to look at my house. He made comments about how he was surprised that I took the photos for the 3D app visualizer, like I was not capable of doing it? He gave me a long overview of the company, wanted me to play games to get the price lower, and told me they could not do insulation in my attic (even thought that was a major part of my request) and when I told him I had a meeting that was about to start and I needed him to hurry up and get to the cost of the new roof, he got an attitude and raised his voice at me (which made me extremely uncomfortable as a single woman in my home). I had to talk him down and ended up having to ask my colleagues to delay the meeting so I could wait for him to leave. At this point I decided not to use this company, but after struggling to find a roofer that could do both the roof and insulation, I reached back out and asked to speak with a different estimator. This time I got someone who seemed a lot more knowledgeable, and agreed they could do everything I needed, so I went ahead and signed up for the top of the line system. The first crew came out to install the attic insulation, which should have been a minimum of 13" (code in Ohio). I looked at it as soon as they were finished and saw they only put in about 9". I had to ask the PM to have them come back out and blow more. I guess they assumed I would never look up there and not see that I was shorted? Then the issues with the roof started. First I noticed that they didn't overlap the underlayment. They left the plywood exposed at the hips and ridge of my porch roof. I let the PM know the underlayment wasn't done correctly and he said that it was because they ran out of materials, but they had already put shingles right up to that point, so they did not leave any space to overlap. I asked for proof that it was done correctly on the main roof, and they could not show me any evidence that it was. They were supposed to put on 5 box vents, but only put on 4, I'm not sure why. The flashing on the back of the house that used to be nice and flat, was now a wavy mess with lots of gaps, as well as some of the shingles in that area were bulging and not laying flat. So they had to come back and fix that. The last part of the roof to finish was an overhang roof over my exterior basement stairs. It was very obvious the shingles they added to this area were no good. They were all scuffed up and the grit was crumbling off of them. I was surprised they even installed them in that condition, so I had to ask for them to come out again and fix the shingles. They also used nails that were too long on the overhang section of roof, and my nice tongue and groove ceiling was covered in nail holes and long nails sticking through it. I brought all of this up to the PM and he just offered to paint the nails. So I asked to speak to someone else about it, who said if they used shorter nails it would void the warranty, which seemed odd since the long nails aren't even gripping anything, the ends are just hanging out in the open air. I asked if they needed to add a layer of plywood to that area to make it thicker, because that seemed to be the logical thing to me, but they declined. Instead they put new tongue and grove up over the old ceiling to hide the nails, which I then had to prime and paint myself. They also got some of the very sticky underlayment on my gutters and left it there. When I asked if it could be removed they said no. What a nightmare! The only reason I gave 2 stars is because so far my roof hasn't leaked. Unless you want to babysit this company every step of the way to make sure it's done right, go with someone else. Or just be blissfully ignorant and let them short change you every step of the way.

On top of installing a new roof and gutters, they also completely installed a new porch ceiling. That was a job that had been began by an individual who walked off the job and left it in a very poor, unfinished condition. They were all completely professional, kind, and courteous.
