Montante Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics

I LOVE Montante Plastic Surgery. I have gotten Botox, filler, facials, PRP and major surgery at this practice. I could not be happier. From the front desk to the top surgeon, the staff is warm, compassionate, present, and takes time to know their clients. You get a vibe that the team not only loves going to work, but also love working hard- they are passionate skilled artists. Every nurse and staff member I encountered in the hospital pre op and post op, was excited I was working with Dr. Montante whose reputation among the people who work closest to him is flawless! As a nurse myself, I appreciate how impressive that is! I’ve felt gorgeous and rejuvenated after every procedure large or small! Everyone I’ve referred, has shared my sentiments about their positive experiences and fabulous outcomes.

While I went to Montante’s plastic surgery looking for scar repair and possibly fat transfer, when I came out of surgery (which was on a Saturday), beware of this type of practice as doctors need their time to rest. It’s been over six months and the bruising is still there. There many complications but let me just say you should read the Virginia board of Medicine doctors profiles and look for the two previous settlements. Overall it is my opinion that the Montante’s have no skill and should not be working in medicine unless it involved an autopsy!

Such an amazing experience with a wonderful team! Not only is everyone kind, they're incredible at informing you with exactly what will be done and why. I've already scheduled appointments for different procedures. Also - they fix stretched earlobes!!! All my 90s and 00s babies who thought gauges were the ultimate trend at one point, this is your spot!!!

I could not have prayed for a better team… Dr Montante, Shelly and the office staff are the best! Pre and post surgery experience exceeded my expectations they were very attentive…I felt good going into surgery. Now I look and feel amazing!!!

I had such a good experience with Dr Montante and his crew. I came in for a consultation for trans related healthcare and felt very comfortable, safe, and respected the whole time. I’m also really impressed with Dr Montante’s work and the results, so I’ll be going with him for my procedure!

I’m so amazed and in awe of my results of breast augmentation, I had fat grafting to the breast with lift and reduction. The office staff is amazing, Dr. Montante and his wife NP Shelly are the BEST! Knowledgeable, patient and extremely thorough. The office is beautiful, I love the atmosphere, the cleanliness and the overall concept design and appeal. I totally recommend this Surgeon for all of your Plastic Surgery needs.

I had some filler injected at montante and I think the person injecting was attempting this for the first time, as an experiment on a lucky customer like me. It hurt so much that I actually passed out and they had to rush in Dr. Montante himself had to take over for this defective injector. So if you like to go to Montante I would strongly suggest you find out who is injecting and see their individual reviews first. You do not want to be a guinea pig with a new injector like I am. Personally, not going back there.

Honestly he was so respectful he’s work is amazing... I went for a breast augmentation and I couldn’t been any happier with his work and I’m ???????? I would recommend him to everyone I know that’s interested he’s the best never once had a problem he’s the best doctor hands down... never one did I feel uncomfortable

Love visiting and having services done with Shelly at Montante! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind, sincere, and talented. I’m so glad I was introduced to her and the practice ?? I look forward to building a relationship with the rest of the staff and sharing my experience with others. Im beyond grateful to have such a talented group of individuals on my side to help me achieve my goals!

I'm transgender. I saw Montante for a gender affirming surgery consultation and it was a low-key traumatic experience. He touched my chest while I wasn't looking without obtaining any consent or even warning me. There were 4+ people in the room at the time of my consult and no explanation was given. Not once did anyone call me by the right name and they only sometimes used the correct pronouns. I received nothing in the way of follow up communication after the consult and had to call every other day in regards to scheduling, only to get sent to someone's voicemail box or hung up on every single time. This all happened in November of 2020. In Jan. 2020, I called to tell them that I was fed up with the office staff and not at all comfortable being operated on by Montante. Today, in March of 2021, I got a call to tell me that my surgery with him is scheduled for April (and was once again addressed by the wrong name). This guy and his office staff are terrible. Maybe he's great if you're getting your nose done or something IDK but IF YOU'RE TRANS, STEER CLEAR!!

On the bright side, I'm currently recovering from my surgery with Dr. Del Corrall up in Baltimore and couldn't be more satisfied with the care I received.
