Meredith Lodging

My family and I had reserved a property through Meredith Lodging several months in advance and one week prior to my stay we were called and told the property had "SOLD" and would no longer be available. We had friends and family traveling from multiple states and of course had paid for the property in full. Meredith Properties did offer replacement options but none of the rentals would accommodate our guests or meet our requirements. When a family emergency threatened to change the dates of our reservation we received very little help and would have had to forfeit our pre-payment entirely, but of course when the tables are turned Meredith Lodging sings a very different tune. Please read the other reviews as this theme seems to be very common for this rental company. Can't wait for their response about their "binding rental agreements" and "substitution of property" - Look elsewhere for a rental company that won't leave you high and dry!

DO NOT USE THEM. Unprofessional and dismissive. Most of our group got sick while in the house. When our issues arose, they tried to place blame elsewhere. Generic responses to our inquiries.

Our family rents a house once a year on Labor Day weekend each year we have rented a different house from sea haven they are always clean an wonderful lots of space great views couldn't ask for more we will keep renting from them for years to come thanks so much

We found Seahaven rentals when we were looking for a large house for 5 families to rent over Memorial Day weekend. We booked a house (Emerald Cove, sleeps 24) with them about 5 months in advance and prepaid 100%. We received our access information the week before we were to leave and were very excited. The Monday before Memorial Day weekend they called us and cancelled our reservation saying they could no longer accommodate us and gave no reason. We had friends coming from all over and had arranged this well in advance! I would not trust them or plan a vacation around one of their rental properties, this was the worst experience I have had with a rental company, and had we tried to cancel we would not have received a refund. It is unacceptable for a company to behave in such a manner.

Talk about integrity, these guys have it in spades! My friends and I rented a beach house for a weekend birthday celebration. There were twelve of us and they had several properties for us to choose from. Their rental process was easy, their staff was friendly, and we had every reason to be excited for our trip.

This company manages the properties, they don't own them, so I'm judging based on how I thought they handled the rental process and took care of us as customers. It's great when everything goes smoothly, but when things go awry that's when you find out what kind of company you're really dealing with. Unfortunately our trip gave them plenty of opportunity to prove their mettle.

The day before our vacation, we found out the stove was broken in the property we originally rented and couldn't be repaired in time, so they moved us to another house that happened to be a nice upgrade. We arrived Friday afternoon and loved the property, but later that night there was an emergency and we had to move.

We were able to reach a manager at 1:30 a.m. who met us at a another beautiful property (Pelican Reach) and got us resettled. Aaron was our knight in shining armor!

Their team continued to follow up with us over the weekend and worked with us to find an acceptable resolution for the inconveniences we experienced. At every turn, they stepped up and took care of us. Thank you guys! I would definitely work with Seahaven Rentals again and I would love to go back to Pelican Reach!

Surfers View has a very nice little overlook. Very clean and spacious. would rent again. Excellent view.
quiet and a great way to spend the weekend

I spent time at {Surfersview} with my family and it was amazing! So picturesque, and able to see the ocean almost everywhere from the top floor. It was well furnished and clean. The lower level was also just as comfortable. It was restful being able to hear the ocean outside and the beds were so cozy. Kinda like laying in a cloud!
Thank you for this most relaxing weekend. I'm ready to return!

I have stayed in several of Seahaven's vacation homes over the past few years. They offer such beautiful homes and I'm consistently impressed with how clean and well appointed they are. The office staff is great--very professional, friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend Seahaven Rentals to anyone looking for a vacation rental in Lincoln City.
