Thank you for taking the time to review us, Daniel. Long Island Treatment Center provides Outpatient Rehab to the Long Island and Greater New York City area. We offer many different treatment modalities, including Medication Assisted Treatment to men and women of all different backgrounds.

Great place. Great staff. I would recommend them to anyone I care about.

Long Island Treatment Center is a caring place. The staff there is extremely welcoming and work with patients in every way they can. Never felt more at home and comfortable. I would recommend LITC to anyone.

Long Island Treatment Center....where the real work towards my recovery begins.
Initially, I was hesitant to attend counseling and meetings but in time I grew to appreciate the staff's genuine care and concern. I was quickly able to open up and become honest with who I am and learn why I started drugging in the first place. I thank LITC for helping me stay in recovery during the first several weeks out of rehab and getting me acclimated into the world.
Every time I walk into the building, I'm welcomed by the staff and asked how I'm feeling. I see my peers growing as well and look forward to coming and talking about what I'm going through. Everyone makes me feel comfortable and like I have a second home here.
While attending therapy here, I learned more about my addiction and methods to use to maintain sobriety. I met so many people, staff as well as clients, who became my support. I never felt judged and quickly grew comfortable expressing my feelings and thoughts. While here, I was taught how to get through so many obstacles I was facing in life. A major plus for me was most of the staff are in recovery which makes me feel more understood and never judged. I also learned the ways I was feelings were valid and I was not alone. Finally, I felt understood!
I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for the staff and the amazing experiences I've had at LITC. The techs, facilitators, my therapist, and administration were all understanding of my individual needs. My therapist actually listened to problems and the troubles I faced, understood how I felt, and provided me with insight, great advice, and coping skills for my anxiety. He also helped me with a personalized relapse prevention plan and methods on how to crush my cravings.
After coming out of rehab I had very little hope of living a successful and clean life in the real world. LITC helped me learn how to live a life worth appreciating. Today, I can happily admit I can have fun and enjoy being clean.

I came to Long Island treatment center a week out of detox. I was apprehensive but I knew I needed it. From the moment I walked in I felt so comfortable and welcomed. The counselors and staff couldn't be nicer. The counselors are so in touch with what addicts and people in recovery deal with. Groups are stimulating and the time flies. I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience of coming to LITC is. I look forward to the days I go. I recommend it to anyone having struggles or addicts or are in recovery. It's a positive place with caring and compassionate people.
