Place absolutely changed me for the better. They were tough on me when I needed it, and soft and tender when necessary. The property is absolutely gorgeous and unfortunately I’ve been to many places. This is by far the nicest property in the DMV.

At first I thought this was an amazing place. The staff are made up of mostly former clients so they understand the struggle. However throughout the entire property there are cameras that have mics on them so any staff who has access to the cameras can be sitting at home with there buddies listening to groups where private information is shared by clients. This is a direct Hippa violation. The director literally spends his entire day staring at the cameras. God only knows where other cameras may be.

The Valley was mediocre. The best therapist was Trin, the worst is Amy, everyone else was alright but I personally want a therapist in recovery. Way too many work sheets and not enough real life conversations, except for a few groups. The food was shit.

I very much so enjoyed my stay at the Valley. It's was beautiful, peaceful and very informational. I learned alot and healed alot. I feel rejuvenated after my experience and ready to live a sober life. Thank you!

My experience at The Valley was exceptional. No other program, in my opinion compares. The clinical staff are top notch and know first hand what client's are experiencing. The facility grounds and housing are spectacular, meticulously maintained and clean. Upon leaving The Valley, I felt very prepared to continue to the next step and I know that I have an extended family with The Valley. The Valley is "truly magical".

Fantastic program. If you need treatment for substance abuse look no further.

Definitely 5 stars!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend The Valley and this is coming from a knucklehead. Trynn was my counselor and extremely helpful. She is very knowledgeable about recovery and was instrumental in my recovery while I was at The Valley. The staff at The Valley are the best I've been around. They really want you to stay sober and give you the tools to do so.

I just left The Valley four days ago and I must say I had a great experience. Most of the staff are in recovery and ALL of the staff care about your well being and are very helpful. I would like to recognize Trynn who was my counselor at The Valley while I was there and Kristie who was my case worker. They both went above and beyond to help me. I wasn't the easiest client and thought about leaving a few times. Trynn always made herself available and helped (talked me off the ledge of leaving) several times. Kristie was also a huge help in assisting me with my step down program and definitely cares about the clients.
