I was pulled over for speeding (83 in a 60) in the middle of nowhere in the middle of Florida. The only 2 people on the road were me and the State Trooper. Despite my being cooperative and polite, the Trooper wrote me for every MPH of that ticket. I was pretty sure I was screwed, no way some podunk court in the middle of the state is going to dismiss my ticket. No offense, there is a lot of charm in a podunk town, my experience is that the lack of crime gives police time to really go after traffic violations, that results in a zero tolerance policy that is enforced with vigor. I decided my best chance was to find a local attorney's office in the area I had my court appearance. Atty Diamond's office was efficient, informative and polite. They were able to negotiate my ticket to only a fine and no points or smear on my driving record. Exactly what I wanted to happen, happened. Money well spent.
