Add ReviewWe went from Bradenton to New Orleans. Worst tour ever. While our driver and brought-in-at-the-last-minute chaperone were both really nice, the itinerary, preparation, New Orleans regional directors, New Orleans hotel, included meals were sad, sad, sad. Never been on a tour where we heard so many complaints from fellow tourists.Report
Wonderful trip to Cincinnati. Loved it. Well planned days activities. Sure kept us busy.Report
Would do it again.
We took a trip from Adamsville, TN to St. Catherine, Ontario to see Niagra Falls. They tell you the bathrooms are only for emergencies. We know why now. They stink after only one use. The tour guide was great and also the driver. That is the only reason they got even one star. The motels were clean and the continental breakfasts were mediocre. The reason I am prompted to give a review is how they handled the trip home. The bus was breaking down on the way to the motel. We were told to get up early so we could leave the motel earlier than scheduled. We had already eaten and turned in our room keys when we found out the bus was broken down. To make a long story short, we were not informed except for periodic "it will be ready.in 30 minutes. We were supposed to leave at 8am. We were supplied another bus and left at 6pm. I am now on that bus as I write this. The ac does not work in the back part where I am sitting. We are incredibly hot. I will NEVER go on another bus tour. This was my first and last. They are cheap for a reason!Report
Great trip to Washington, D.C. from the Carrollton, GA Senior Center. Our charter bus with MLB and driver Travis and D.C. tour guide Sean G. was exceptional! Travis and Sean were very professional in all areas of their expertise and took time to answer any and all questions. Highly recommend Diamond Tours!Report
My husband and I recently went on a 9 day bus tour from Ocala, FL (On Top of The World community) to various areas in Canada. The tour was well planned with stops at wonderful attractions, restaurants, motels and bathroom breaks. We watched movies in between to pass the time.Report
John and Annette Ware did an excellent job as hosts.
The high-lights of this trip were the unforgettable Niagara Falls and Casa Loma in Toronto. We were awe struck by both of these incredible places. Our 'Bucket Lists' have gotten shorter but sweeter.
There's a VERY important person that needs to be mentioned...Eric Smith the bus driver! What a very nice man. Eric was professional, friendly, accommodating, pleasant and always 'went the extra mile' (no pun intended) He was a huge asset to this trip!
A complaint...could you widen the bus aisle? It's a little skinny for my hips to get through (LOL) Actually...I learned to exit at a sideways gallop...a talent that I now have which may come in handy in the future

Unjustified bus tour denial.Report
Wish I could give lower than a 1 star rating. Im writing this on behalf of my parents, who just returned from what are deeming "the trip from hell".Report
Here are just a FEW of the issues they experienced.
4 hour detour because driver was lost.
Driver did not know how to properly park and or kneel bus.
(Improper parking resulted in a passenger falling~requiring 5 stitches to her chin)
Driver made male passengers get the luggage.
Opened emergency vents because air/defrosters were not working. (I have a picture of a 91 year old passenger bundled up to stay warm)
Bus broke down
Destinations were under construction.
And it should be noted that this was a senior citizen trip!
Numerous calls were made to Diamond Tours during the trip. Their response was "don't call us, call the company that owns the bus".
THIS COMPANY IS A DISGRACE!!
My wife and I paid $950 last October for a bus group ticket to New Orleans.Report
We mistakenly did not buy an $80 insurance policy which we were told did not cover issues within two weeks of departure. Two nights before departure, my wife came down with her first attack of vertigo. We lost the trip and our money. We asked a dozen parties to please take our tickets. To a person, they indicated their desire but had commitments at late notice.
My repeated requests to establish a contact with another group with a late notice absentee with a gift for their trouble met with a no at each level. My phone calls to continue a communication regarding this matter were repeated not answered.
In the future, I will try use any other travel company.
