Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory is a family-owned and operated business located in Urbandale. Mark and John Parrish, brothers who live in West Des Moines, began the funeral home's latest chapter when they purchased Caldwell Parrish in April 2014 from James and Karolyn Raddatz. The Raddatz family had owned the business since 1987, and in 1995, moved the funeral home from the Drake neighborhood to our current location on Hickman Road, anticipating the western movement of the Des Moines metro population. Esther and Roy Caldwell started our tradition in 1920 of serving families with personal concern and attention to all details of the planning process. We carry it forward into the 21st century by providing meaningful ceremonies, affordable pricing, and honoring your family traditions and requests.
