Once I decided to go solar electric to power my home, I needed an installer that would offer good pricing and customer service, do quality work, and be around in case something went wrong in the future.

I interviewed 8 of the top solar panel installers in Orlando with the best Google reviews. Bob Heinmiller was by far the best. Their company gave me the peace of mind I was looking for when making such a large investment in my home. The salesman was not pushy at all and answered all the questions I had. They kept me informed with all the details through the ordering and permitting process.

When install day came, they showed up with several clean and professional installers. When all the work was done they tidied up and left my property in good shape.

I couldn't recommend them enough, you will not be disappointed.

Steller service and install. Tried for months to get honest pricing and info on solar. Mike Lane totaly did everthing he said he would. Follow up from start to finnish was the best. If you want a local reliable service you need to get him out ASAP.

I can't be more pleased! I just installed a 6.9KW system on my garage and from the beginning Mike was fantastic. He did not exert pressure to sell the system - and that sold me. I had contacted Solar City, but they were super aggressive and that is a big turn off.

He was also very communicative. I received multiple updates on progress, including a call that they would go ahead and get started one afternoon because they had time to start. It was nice to have a contractor who showed initiative and got working - even neighbors were complimentary.

I could not recommend this company more - and given the experience with solar, I am going to use them going forward for my air conditioning service.

I recently engaged Mike Lane of Bob Heinmiller Solar Solutions to install a 10,000 watt Solar PV system on the flat roof of my mid-century modern home in College Park. OUC lists Bob Heinmiller Solar as a locally "approved vendor", so that gave me some comfort. I engaged two other vendors for proposals, but each of them turned out to be very pushy and higher priced. Mike Lane was the only one interested in listening to my concerns and helping me with making the right choices for my application. Mike patiently guided me through the process and diligently answered all of my questions along the way. Given that I needed to get some roof work done before the solar project, I went with a local roofer (RMS Roofing) who Mike worked with to coordinate his installation of the solar panels and sealing of all roof penetrations. Given that my HVAC system was aging, I also took the opportunity to upgrade, again going with Heinmiller HVAC, who installed a very efficient unit for me. Heinmiller's workers were all very courteous and professional. I highly recommend Heinmiller Solar and Heinmiller HVAC for any new projects you might undertake. They are trustworthy and will get the job done right.

First of all, I never leave reviews. My feeling is that I speak with my wallet. However, in this case, I wanted to write in appreciation for excellent service. After much research, I invited Bob Heinmiller Solar out to offer a quote for a PV system for our home. Mike Lane came out and talked us through options. He was clear, honest, professional, and knowledgable. And humble: Mike comes from a lineage of first-generation solar technicians in Central Florida and so knows not only the latest technology, but the history and politics of solar in Florida. Mike offered us a reasonable quote and, more importantly, considerately talked us through all our concerns. He and his team did all the legwork efficiently and stayed in excellent communication with my spouse and I. And the installation was fast, clean, and complete. He stayed on the City and FPL to finalize the process, even though I had paid in full, seeing the project through to completion. I have been very impressed with his courtesy, professionalism, and knowledge. I would most highly recommend Heinmiller Solar - specifically because of Mike Lane's leadership there.

My service guy Mike was awesome. He was quick efficient and the price was exactly as promised. Everything was so great that I am now officially no longer a Fun in the Sun customer. Wish I would have switched a long time ago. And yes, this is a real review from a real customer that was fed up with that other company. Glad I switched!

Mike was great with helping me complete my warranty claim to get a new inverter at no cost, then he and his team quickly installed the new inverter and got us generating power at full capacity. I would definitely use this group again if I have any other issues with my photovoltaic system.

I was looking for a solar pool heating system but after meeting with their sales guy, Michael, he explained their company could also do solar hot water, and solar electric. I got the works and haven't been happier with saying goodbye to the local utility company.

I am writing today to complain of the poor service /customer relationship and poor communication I received from your company between April 20 and May 05 2017. I was visited by a representative of this respectfulness and awful Company, Mr. Lane, at my home between those days.

We ended our communication after I decide this company was a waste of time with a huge lack of respect to me and my family. That is why we hired other company for our $55,000.00 home improvement to our home. No management, no office manager and after calling for a few days requesting to speak with the owner my wife was completely ignore and spend more then 40 minutes on hold. This is not good ethics and by the way I suggest to stop using (and yes we are a christian company) God's name in vain with this kind of human treatment.
