American Auto Shipping

In mid-January 2023, I purchased a vehicle that needed to be shipped from Chicago, Illinois to Honolulu, Hawaii. It required both ground and ocean transportation. I googled the internet for the top auto shippers in the country, and American Auto Shipping was rated in the top five. When I called the shipper, there was no waiting and no hassles. The agent who took my order (#2903) was friendly, cordial, and very professional. Subsequently, another agent contacted me with a quote that would never change. Every step of the way, from coordinating the pickup in Chicago, to the drop off in Long Beach with Matson Shipping, and finally the arrival for my pickup in Honolulu, was as smooth and uneventful as you would want. My special thanks to Aerin and Rachel who were the agents most involved with the process. I will use every opportunity to use or recommend American Auto Shipping in future transportation needs.

I used AAS to ship a car across the country in January and would work with them again. Our point person, Andrew, was responsive and answered questions about status and how to contact the driver during shipment. The car arrived on time and delivery went smoothly. The price was reasonable, within range of other shippers.

Door to door service with the car arriving the evening before it was scheduled to arrive and in perfect condition (dirty but car wash was complimentary). Very pleased with the transport.

Andrew provided excellent customer service throughout the entire auto shipping reservation from the 1st phone call to follow-up after the car reached its' destination. I appreciated the problem free transport.

American Auto Shipping was a true pleasure to work with. In the high stress situation of having my truck break down 750 miles from home, AAS handled all the arrangements of driver and equipment locator, pickup and delivery door to door.

All went smooth except the driver would not come to the west mesa area where I live to load the car. I had to take it to him. Also, you guys are very high priced.

Unfortunately, not all carriers can get directly in front of a customer's house as they are large trucks and they cannot fit in all areas, as well as having to avoid things such as overhanging trees which can damage other vehicles on the trailer.
