Ambrosia Treatment Center West Palm Beach

A lack of communication and management is amateur. I walked into my room and found cigarette butts in drawers and trash. My understanding was our luggage was to be "bed bug" proofed. I have been itching for a week since leaving. Staff are running around like chickens with their heads cutoff and the clients run the place. I came into the common kitchen area and found my checkbook lying on the counter. This item was with my other personal belongings in a locked locker. Unacceptable- my car was left unlocked by staff for two nights . This facility is not in a very nice neighborhood. The group sessions were weak. Staff members were rude to the clients and visa versa.
The shining spot on my stay (I left AMA) was meeting with the psychiatrist, Mary. The rest was a chaotic nightmare. Please do your research!

Before coming to Ambrosia. I was homeless on the streets of Baltimore City with nothing but a terrible addiction. With no hope or purpose I wanted to die. There wasn't any light in my life. When I got to Ambrosia hope and faith was restored and I had a desire to live again! The facility is beautiful and staff is amazing. The group's and counseling dove deep in me to deal with the deep rooted issues in order for me to stay in recovery! Thankyou Ambrosia!

Amazing Facility! I have been to a bunch of different places places and this is one of the best by far that I have been to. There was so much help that I needed I could have not been more thankful to have been to such a great place with people that actually care about you and want to see you do better. The staff is absolutely amazing Nick & Trish and my absolute favorite.Everybody is so loving and caring it's such a pleasant stay and Also they take us to meetings to get us outside the extra support we need also get us out. We have great groups that are very helpful.Very clean establishment brand new the housing is amazing as well, It doesn't even feel like you're in treatment. They provide everything and more that we need. I am very thankful that I went to this facility and met all the great staff and had all the support that I needed. Also even after your stay they continue to help you stay clean and sober.

If you are looking for help for yourself or loved one I beg you to look else where. There are so many treatment facilities they will actually treat you as a human instead of a dollar sign because once they get paid everything changes. You're lied to just to get in the program and anything they tell you is false. Rodent infested worse than jail. Don't let the fake ABC CNN or whatever reviews you see because they didn't stay there. Please take it from a person who spent 7 days in hell and DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT AMBROSIA. Unity around the corner will treat you much better and actually have a plan for you

Stole all my stuff. Had to call the police and when they left they went against direct orders from the police after they ordered them to give me my stuff and take me 6 miles up the road. These people are not friendly or kind and I had to threaten them to have them mail me my belongings & money & they stole all my expensive stuff... please do not go here!!! Way better, more professional, law abiding centers you can go to!! Will forever regret this. & they didn't mail me my bible that my father gave me!! I am heart broken.

I had a mostly positive experience at Ambrosia. It is fairly laid back and the program was very inclusive. Doty was my therapist and she helped me a ton. Also Dean Sababu is one of the coolest therepists I've ever met. The only thing that I really have to complain about this facility is that they played with my grocery money. They kept giving me HALF of what I was supposed to get, actually maybe 40%.. per week.. so that was about 30 dollars a week.... They kept promising me the full amount, which was PROMISED to be 75 dollars a week, but that never happened. Let me be straight.. you DO NOT play with a man's grocery money who is straight out of detox. Other than that, I would say... put up higher walls or fences so the patients can't sneak out at night into one of the roughest areas of WPB to look for drugs. That REALLY crushed the whole vibe of serenity when other patients were doing this. Of course it's always going to happen, but I feel that they could have safeguarded things a bit better. Yes I'm pretty bitter about the whole food situation... to be fair, I am willing to change my review to 4 MAYBE 5 stars if I receive a public apology and explanation for my mistreatment. My parents paid for this out of pocket and they bled my insurance dry, so... there really isn't an excuse for making me go hungry. Whatever, I'm off drugs for now! Thank you and god bless!

This place changed my life and the way I see things now. So many great people who work here and I was here like last year in October and would recommend this treatment facility to any of my loved ones and friends. Great clinical staff too.

Would recommend this treatment facility to anyone looking. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Met some great people!

Ambrosia South played a huge role in helping me stay sober and most importantly, alive. I gained very many unique tools to stay sober and also was introduced to the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous through this treatment center. I highly recommend them to save yourself or your loved ones.

Ambrosia west palm beach is by far the best rehab I have ever been to they genuinely care about about there clients the staff is beyond amazing the housing is sooo clean and the counselors are nothing short of amazing I give this place 10 stars anytime someone needs help I instantly send them to ambrosia
