Alvarez Construction Company, LLC

Less than 2 weeks in the house and door knobs are falling off, garage door poorly installed and fell off the tracks, water damage in the cabinets, master bathroom door casing installed incorrectly, backsplash trim unfinished, dead sod, etc.
Alot of overpromising and underdelivering, no communication, lying, absolutely will not accept responsibility, completion date pushed back 5 different times, owner(s) will not return phone calls and the list goes on.
Absolutely DO NOT use this company.

I have a house built by Alvarez Construction in Fieldstone Subdivision. My problem with them is no checking on Construction because everytime the Trash Truck comes to pickup Trash my front room Stinks like a Trash Dump. This only happens on Trash Days. I have contacted customer care and they responded back to me that there is nothing they can do about it. This is sad to have a house built and your room Stinks like Trash on Trash pickup days. I have contacted others owner's about this problem they have stated there front room does not smell. I think during construction they forgot insulation or something else. Something is not sealed right. It is not pleasant to be waking up to a Stinky room!!!!

I purchased a new home in The Sanctuary at Juban Crossing in Denham Springs and before buying I pointed out the breaking away of the concrete at the edge of the driveway. I was told that it would be repaired and I didn't have to worry about it getting worse. After two separate attempts to fix the problem , now my driveway is worse than before. I now wish I wouldn't have asked for them to fix my driveway and just left it alone! The first two pictures is after the first repair and second two is how it is now after the second repair.

Chance and his team are great and very helpful!

I wish I had something good to say but I don't. My experience thus far has been terrible.
You never get a straight answer. Your house will be delayed. You won't be communicated with on a regular basis if at all through the process. You don't matter after you sign the contract and and even more so when you close. AVOID AT ALL COST! This company needs to learn what customer service is or they will not exist in the future.
