Add ReviewIt was a pleasant experience beginning to end. The staff was courteous, I was X-ray and in and out in 45minutes. Dr Haig is an excellent surgeon and I feel I received good sound advice!Report
Very good surgeon. Wait staff is very supportive and quite accommodating. They work well with their clients very respectful and helpful. Been going there for over 5 years.Report
Waited about 70 minutes. When he appeared, spent less than 5 with Dr. Haig who read my xray film in front of fellow patients, a mother and her son. To be fair he read the son's films in front of me as well (broken tibia).Report
Seemed incredibly friendly, big smile, but zero clear, measured explanation of what I need medically. Would not recommend.
Finally a Dr who's can find what's going on with my knee, ty DR.Report
I knew I needed surgery, and very nervous. I was recommended to Dr Haig in Scarsdale from a friend.Report
Best thing I did was going to see him, made me feel a ease ,he was very good at telling me what I needed.
When surgery was all done he followed thru and made sure all was good. From instructions after surgery
To his staff that helped me with physical therapy, all was great..
I have no complaints..... I praise this guys hands and skill
Last but least....if you choose him or anyone else.....
Do your therapy, do the p/t at home as instructed ,.... And everything will be fine.
Just don't take it upon yourself to overdue it.
Btw.... I had shoulder surgery 3 tears in rotator cuff and a large tear in my Librium
I must disagree with La Asa's review on all accounts ( except for the crowded waiting room with no place to sit and one hour to wait)Report
The staff are working very hard but they are courteous and helpful. The expertise of Dr. Haig is excellent. He can identify the problem and analyse the situation with insight and knowledge. Even after surgery, you may have doubts but he is very reassuring that all ( in time) will be healed. He is an excellent doctor. and his staff is friendly and helpful.
This office is the epitome of what is wrong in health care today. If you want to be treated with dignity and respect do not visit this office.Report
It was such a terrible experience I do not even know where to start. Lets try with the front desk.
1. I walk up to the desk and no one greets me, or even acknowledges me.
2. I see a sign in sheet for the Dr. I wanted to see, so I signed in.
3. The front desk staff is so busy bickering with each other that I am still ignored. They are rude and nasty to each other, arguing over who knows what and then passing that attitude onto the patients.
4. I am finally acknowledged, paperwork shoved in my face and told, not asked, to fill it out. When I was done, I returned to the window, only to be ignored again, and I just left my paperwork on the ledge.
5. The waiting room is FILTHY, and crowded, and not a single place to sit. With the amount of people in this waiting room I am sure Dr. Haig is making enough money to afford a coat of paint and a new rug. It is absolutely filthy and disgusting. How can you trust your health to anyone under such dirty conditions?
6. And this is the best part. I was told to arrive early to fill out paperwork, so I did, 15 min. I sat and waited ONE HOUR and no one even acknowledged me. I finally asked how long he was running behind his appointments and I was told I had at least another 20 minutes to wait before being seen.
It is ridiculous that Dr. Haig is so careless as to make people wait so long. He is running a factory, not a health care office.
Like I stated before, if you want to be treated with dignity and respect, do not go to this factory. You will be sorely disappointed.
It is a rude, inhumane place, where patients are treated like cattle, in filthy conditions, with no respect.
