I have used recovery-experts.com twice, once in 2016 and again in 2021, and their services are excellent and I massively recommend them. As a small independent business, I believe their lower overheads offer customers substantial savings over larger competitors, while delivering excellence results. The recent recovery was a challenging Macbook Pro RAID-0 recovery with non-removable SSD, and I thought the chance of recovery was low. But they did an amazing job! Their communication throughout the process was particularly great.

My external hard drive with many critical files crashed all of a sudden in this pandemic, which caught me off guard. Through the conversation on the phone with Alex, he gave me a pretty detailed and straightforward explanation of the issue with my drive and the mechanism behind to fix it based on my description of the drive's condition. Instead of encouraging me to send through the device to him asap like some other companies did, Alex offered to check his stock first to see if he has the spare part required to fix my drive. After checking his device stock, he told me he doesn't have it currently and needed to order the specific part, which could take several extra days. In order to save my time, he referred me to another bigger data recovery company that has the part. I really appreciate Alex's honesty and candor, unlike some other companies trying too hard to get business, i feel like he really cares about his customer. Even though I didn't end up doing business with him, I can still feel the professionalism of him through our conversation, plus his cheerful phone etiquette really lightens the mood especially in such a stressful time like now. We need more people like Alex!

Data Recovery Experts basically saved my whole last year of college. I'm a photo major and in my senior year had my hard drive fail on me with all my work from the last two years that was not backed up. Alex and the people from Data Recovery Experts were literal angels, they kept me very well informed throughout the whole recovery process, got back to me with the diagnosis and a quote really quick, and kept trying their best even when the first attempts to recover failed. They also have flexible prices depending on the amount of risk you're willing to take which I thought was pretty cool, especially for us broke students.
In the end I had a 100% recovery, even though my hopes were really low after the first failed attempt, and I'll be forever grateful to them for that!

It seems you probably stopped by our old 39th street location without calling us beforehand. Sorry to hear you were unable to turn your drive in but we were in the process of relocating during that time. Our new location is now on 5th Ave and 30th Street as we have listed here on Google.
