I signed up at this dojo Jul '20 with no prior martial arts/self-defense experience. I attend classes 2-4 times per week as my schedule allows, and in just these few months, my confidence has greatly improved to where I could handle a confrontational/aggressive/physical situation. I am 65 years old. Sensei Gerry is highly experienced and patient. The higher-level students are eager to help the newbies, and everyone is polite and respectful. No show-offs.

Sensei has created a supportive dojo where even the most skilled are more than willing to work with. newer members.An excellent place to work out and gain confidence and skills to defend yourself if needed.

As someone who has been practicing in the arts for over 30 years, I can truly say this is one of the most professional environments I have ever encountered. From the Sensei to all the students you are greeted with the utmost in respect and consideration. The instructors are patient ad are acutely tuned in on all members strong/weak points and know just how to help you cultivate your skill as you progress on. This is an environment for those who really want to learn. I highly recommend this Dojo. It is a safe space with no judgement, just knowledge and skill building.
