American Twin Mover Annapolis

We are very disappointed with this dishonest company. First, Joseph quoted us the wrong estimate. Then the movers broke items without telling us and did not reassemble the furniture that was disassembled. Upon completion of the job, Joseph admitted his error and offered a refund out of his pocket to prevent his manager from learning of his mistake and to get a 5 star rating. He reneged on his refund offer and stopped returning our calls.

My husband and I were given an estimate with an itemized inventory. Joseph assured us that we would pay less based on reduced number of hours and items removed from the inventory list. My husband and I made several trips with boxes reducing the number from 50 to 23 boxes and took other items ourselves to reduce the inventory list. Also, the movers took 6 hours instead of 8 hours to move us. When it was time to pay the final bill, there was no reduction. We were surprised that the movers did not reassemble the bed or the china cabinet. There were items broken like the handle from a 2-door cabinet and the 3 lights on the entertainment unit. It would have been appreciated if the movers just let us know instead of finding the lights disconnected inside one of the compartments and the door handle broken after they left.

Also one of the movers was very unprofessional talking to his girlfriend on his cell phone while moving our furniture. We could here him talking aloud throughout the move.

Also, we were told that the movers would lay blankets to cover the floors. This was not done at either location. When we noticed, my husband rushed to our new home in order to cut and tape cardboard down on all the floors going to the rooms to protect the floors. It is very disappointing that we were assured something and made every effort to bring down the cost, and it did not actually happen.

There was no response to our calls and email to discuss the final bill.

I would not recommend this moving company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We decided to go forward with this company for our move from Philly to St Louis and now we wish we never did. We initially asked them to quote us for 40 boxes and they told us 3K.. when they came we realized that they had quoted us 20 boxes only and that our new price was 6.2K (literally double of what they originally quoted us!!!!) They promised they would deliver between 7-10 business days and even said (on the phone) that they would most likely deliver after 4 days yet yesterday when we called they didn’t even had a clue where the truck was. Today we called and they said they would deliver after the holidays (or 3 weeks after). Not only they ranked up the price but are also delaying us on purpose. At this point, we are looking to take legal action on them. PLEASE DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY.

Amazing. I've never dealt with movers before so I was shocked at how fast the whole process was. I blocked out the whole day and moving from our 2-bedroom apartment to a small house took about 3 hours. They were also really easy to talk to, and transparent about how the pricing worked. Highly recommend!

Isaac and his crew were wonderful from the beginning quote given by Brianna to delivery. They provided excellent communication and flexibility. They moved my daughter as well. I Highly recommend them for long distance moving!

Carlos , Derick , Cris , Miguel helped us move today. The best experience moving that u can have. Very professional. Not one damage and did not add extra random charges. Will definitely use again when needed!

We used Mike's group to move our 3 bedroom house in Annapolis to a house in Ocean City. They arrived early, were very courteous, and took great care with all of our belongings. They were able to fit everything in one truck, and were very conscientious about placing every single piece of furniture where we wanted it to be in the new house. We couldn't be happier with the service we received!

Very impressed with how flexible and patient this company was! I will definitely call them again in the future!

I had to arrange service at the last minute and everyone with whom I spoke was professional, understanding, and committed to making our needs met: Noam on the phone and Enrique and his team were very professional. They went above and beyond to make sure that all of my furniture was padded, and protected to prevent damage and then ensured that large pieces that came apart for elevator transport were put back together and set up to my preferences. I can't say enough about this team: professional, hard-working, attentive to my requests, and committed to providing a great outcome! Many, many thanks!
