Boxing is an attack and defense, combat sport that focuses on the use of the fists for striking or punching. It is also called pugilism and is supervised by a referee, played in a series of intervals (called rounds) each lasting one to three minutes. Judges decide on who wins a boxing bout based on points unless an opponent gets knocked out (and unable to get up within the referee's count) or badly injured to be able continue fighting.
