Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace; daughter of Lord Byron, born 1815, died 1852.

Now remembered as Ada Lovelace, who wrote a description of Charles Babbage's "analytical engine", and is today remembered as the "first programmer". The computer language Ada was named after her.
