Samuel Adams, born in 1722, was one of the founding fathers of the United States. He was a statesman, a pamphleteer, and as such was able to reach large numbers of colonists, keeping them apprised of the situation in the Colonies, but most importantly to the republic, he was one of the architects of the republicanism upon which the nation was founded.
