Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare lung disease that almost exclusively affects women of childbearing age. It is characterized by abnormal cell growth in the lung tissue, including the airways, and lymph and blood vessels.

Due to similarity in symptoms, some professionals believe that LAM may be an incomplete or unusual form of Tuberous Sclerosis.
