The 1962 classic movie "Lawrence of Arabia" stars Peter O'Toole, Omar Sharif, Alec Guinness, Anthony Quinn, Jack Hawkins, and Joe Ferrer and is based on the life of Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Edward Lawrence, the English military officer nown for his role during the Arab Revolt of 1916 through 1918. The movie is about his life during that time, including his attacks on Damascus and Aqaba as well as his involvement with the Arab National Council.
