Woodlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery is set amongst 35 sprawling, landscaped acres with gates first opening in March of 1935. Great care was taken in beautifying the gardens that encompass the picturesque acreage that feature hundred-year-old oak trees and the serene wildlife of Bear Creek. Originally opening with 20 acres as the Florida Cemetery by the Florida Cemetery Lot Holders Association, the park would later go on to become known as Woodlawn Memory Gardens after Memorial Park Inc. became proud owner in the 1950's. Along with the change in ownership came the addition of 15 acres known as the Beautiful Memory Gardens.
