Children who are helping to care for aging parents know how excruciating it can be when the time comes to seek outside help. My parents had very different needs, so finding one place that would check off all their boxes was a challenge. Woodbriar was the answer to our prayers.
The meticulously maintained grounds offer a serene escape, with beautifully landscaped ponds, gardens and winding paths. The rooms are spacious and the facility is beautiful. The thoughtfully designed common areas foster a sense of community, where residents can gather and socialize.
Dining at Woodbriar is an experience unto itself, with amazing food served at every meal.

Their approach is rooted in a deep understanding of the unique needs and preferences of each resident, tailoring their care plans to preserve independence while providing the necessary support. My mother has been at Woodbriar in the memory care unit for over three years now. My father was there a year and a half before he passed away. We cannot say enough good things about this place. This is a locally owned company who cares for residents and family members. The owners know us on a first name basis and they often touch base to make sure that our needs are met. The owners and staff take the time to get to know each resident and respect them as a human being with value instead of just a number. The team at Woodbriar can be proud that their compassion, dignity, and uncompromising care creates an exceptional living experience for those who call it home.

Very pleasant!

Love the residents and love the staff I love working here I moved away and missed everyone and came back with open arms

My mother has resided in the Memory Care unit of Woodbriar for nearly 1 year. This facility has been a blessing to our family. We closely monitor the care received from all staff members and it is comforting knowing staff is attentive, trained and focused on compassionate care. Management (Admin to Nursing Supervisors) has always been fully supportive, willing to listen and provided guidance as we continue down this very tough journey of Alzheimer’s/Dementia care with Mom.

One of the best places I’ve worked for and the residents are the best

I agree with the last post and this is not bitter! I’m happy I bailed out when I did…just yesterday 7/23/2023 the ‘dietary director’s” son served English muffin sandwiches and Tator tots to both diabetic residents….when I asked him about it…he said “it’s just English muffins” and went on to serve them anyway without making substitutes. He also left the gas stove turned on overnight and when I let upper management know…it was deemed a “mistake” but would it be a mistake if the building blows up….so yes they are going to kill somebody before something is done and as a CERTIFIED CHEF these things go against my craft and is unethical…..I feel sorry for the residents!!!!
