Add ReviewLife changer for my daughter My daughter suffered a traumatic experience and was suicidal and lost.Report
A friend and counselor gave my daughter the gift of attending this program from her own savings. It was the best thing that could have happened for her. She became strong and self-reliant again after only 5 days of the program. She has gone on to do a second program and also a 10-day silent meditation, since her experience at WINGS. I am very grateful.
This is my opinion based on the experiences I had attending the Wings Seminars. I had a very similar experience that Lori Katzin (see review on Google) described in her review. In my opinion this organization exhibits many of the characteristics of a cult. I feel that many of the tactics they used were very manipulative in an attempt to break down and control the individuals attending. I was followed to the bathroom, led through many strange exercises such as an hour long session of “choosing†to hug each attendee in 2 lines while the leader spewed off New Age quotes. Fortunately, I had a family member nearby who was able to pick me up and bring me home early. After leaving, I began to research cults and saw so many similarities. I attended professional counseling to get over this traumatic experience and feeling of betrayal (my boss was the person who brought a group of us there).
