I started seeing Kine in January 2014. I reached out to Willow Tree Wellness with the main goal to restart my body after having been through multiple unsuccessful fertility treatments. I felt like I needed a break from the emotional, physical, and financial stress of infertility.

When I first met with Kine she did a thorough H&P. Kine asked so many questions about my treatments and I could tell she was working harder than my previous RE to try to find some answers.

Her treatments are very relaxing and her demeanor leaves you feeling encouraged. My plan was to see Kine for about 3-6 months before seeing an RE here in Portland. She gave me recommendations on diet, exercise and overall wellness to help optimize and boost my fertility.

Kine was very honest with me and said given my case and history she did not feel like acupuncture and chineese medicine alone would result in a pregnancy, but that it would be a good adjunctive therapy to support any further treatments. I appreciated that she did not give me empty promises throughout my treatments with her.

After seeing Kine for 7 months I found out I had achieved a spontaneous pregnancy. I was cautiously optimistic about things and she truly helped put me at ease through my first trimester. She helped me to stay positive and healthy and not be consumed by the fear of something going wrong given my previous experiences. Every time I went to see her she gave me so much positive reassurance and answered all of my questions. Since you don't typically see and OBGYN until 10-12 weeks, I was so thankful to have weekly visits with Kine. She put my mind and body at ease, and all of the fear and doubt would seem to disappear after a treatment.

I know that not everyone is lucky to have these results, but Kine is an amazingly caring, comforting, and attentive team member to have. I would have highly recommended her regardless of whether or not I got pregnant. I am so thankful to her and everything she has done for me. I will continue to see her and refer her for a long time to come.

Her informative, practical approach and solid knowledge of western medicine banished my initial scepticism about acupuncture, and her warm & attentive manner assured me that I was really being listened to & treated according to my unique situation. She has gone above & beyond on several occasions, giving useful advice on all sorts of healthcare issues that have helped me, my partner - and now our new baby daughter!

Kine was a pro when it came to acupuncture for infertility. I liked her style and approach. She also knows the drill when it comes to working with the infertility clinic, which I appreciated. It was nice to have her as a care team member in my adventure of infertility.

Kine introduced me to acupuncture. We have been working on reducing chronic pain exacerbated by several operations. The pain began to diminish after several acupuncture sessions and I now go for nearly a week with little or no pain. Kine is very present, clear and calm. She has helped me to set health goals that are realistic and make intuitive sense. After a revolving door of hospital visits I'm now participating in my own recovery. A wonderful development.

I can’t say enough positive things about Kine. She's obviously passionate and knowledgeable about what she does, but also has a kind and attentive bedside manner to go along with it. She truly has been an amazing support for me and my family, and I am so grateful to have found her.
